I don't know if this is true or not because I'm not a salary cap expert but I found it quite interesting anyway. If anyone can give some feedback it'd be appreciated.

This article made me think of how we could add more options to the draft. I really like the idea of Akoye coming in for cheap and learning from Washburn in a system built for his strengths and skillset. He's only 24 and if he plays to his potential we could have another Babin on our hands. I see nothing wrong with adding a first round talent for cheap. What do you guys think?

Some people may have seen this already but I found it quite interesting. Trotter is one of my all time eagles favorties.

This scares me personally. He's going to get humilated by the steelers LBs. I'm just scared that Vick is playing for an entire half against an elite pass rush with King Bumlap protecting his blindside. I predict a lot of scrambles unless Mudd work his magic with a giant. Any thoughts or feedback would be glady appreciated.

this shit better not happen...i don't care if we get a 1st rounder for him...he had an incredible season last year, we can't afford to lose him even if we got DRC. I say trade him next year after we make our first SB run.

I miss his leadership so bad. Hope Jarret pans out we could use someone like Dawkins back on our defense.

i hope this doesn't lead to Arizona signing McNabb and screwing up a possible trade partner for us. but it's gonna happen with some team.

For everyone who said Hillis didn't earn the madden cover this year. He put the browns on his back and carried them, even at 5-11, I doubt they would have won any games without him. Not to mention he destroyed the Patriots. His stats wern't the greatest, but given the team he was playing for he had a monster year.

2010 Statistics
Carries: 270
Rushing Yards: 1,177
Rushing Average: 4.4
Rushing Touchdowns: 11
Receptions: 61
Receiving Yards: 477

Receiving Touchdowns: 2

This still almost makes my eyes water if i think about it enough. This was such a great year to be an eagles fan. Everything just fell in place for us. Westbrook, Trotter, Dawkins, Vintage McNabb, TO before the controversy...So many exciting players to watch on one team. I wish i could turn back time.

Wisconsin's Gabe Carimi is close to 6-foot-7 and will play in the 325-pound range in the NFL, and the first trait that surfaced was his competitive attitude. He served notice in the first practice that he will play to the whistle on every play and you are in for a rough day if you line up opposite him. He is very capable of establishing the point of attack in a power running game and could be more of a right tackle than a left tackle. He has the technique to play the left side, but after two practices I like the mauler part of his game the most. During the Tuesday practice he also showed the feet to pull and fold block.

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Stewart Bradley, sidelined since Week 14 with a dislocated elbow, returned to practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.

Bleeding Green Nation This game will say a lot about our chances this year.

Our biggest problem in defense this year was our secondary...aside from Asante and a few strong plays from our safetys, we were terrible against the pass. I think we were somewhere in the bottom 3 in pass td's allowed this season. We're going to be playing one of the most explosive pass teams in the league on Sunday and our secondary is suspect at best. We're starting a 7th round draft pick at saftey and  a very streaky corner in DP. I almost wish they went with Lindley but the experience is def an issue there for a playoff game. I just hope DP decides to show up this game. If our pass d stapsit up I think we run away with this game but I think its going to come down to a very close game. I don't think Vick will let them run away with it no matter what happens but if we can hold the packers to less than 3 pass tds than it will look very promising for our run at the superbowl. They are clearly the most superior team passing in the NFC next to the Saints. They match up pretty evenly now that the Saints have lose Thomas for the season too. Two elite passing teams with 0 running game(you remeber what we do to Reggie in the playoffs <3 sheldon), Its gonna be rough but If we beat them I think it gives us an idea of how to stop the Saints.

Anyway, I think that we have a lot to be worried about in this game, Packersdef is gonna have a much better gameplan for Vick so I wouldnt expect him to look like he did in week 1 burning them for 20 yard runs left and right. We need to run the ball and stop the pass , which will hopefully open it up for Maclin and Jackson to break off thier big plays we need. I'm having high hopes for the birds this year, this is our first step in winning our first superbowl in decades.

Eagles win 24-21 by a David Akersfg.

Bleeding Green Nation Anyone else upset we relased Hall?

I just think its absolutley rediuclous that we traded sheldon brown, arguably our most constent corner we've had for the past decade almost...I know he wanted a knew contr4act, which i feel he deserved. he was constantly playing his heart out and was one of the more exciting players to watch on defence.. (Ex. RIP Reggie Bush) lmao i smile everytime i watch that video. But anyway I know its off topic but am I the only one who thinks it was a retarded move to send such a high caliber player to the brows for a mediocore linebacker and 2 late round picks? I mean if the draft picks play our then I'm all for it but i just think we're risking too much on these guys. If they dont pan out, we got rid of one of my favorite players on our defence and we didnt get jack shit for it...Maybe this was meant for a fanshot but I just wanted to vent to my fellow eagles fans and see if they share the same opinion i do...

Does anybody else think he would fit in good with our team? I think if we put him next to stu it would help our linebacker core out a lot. plus he's a experianced veteran who can still play good when given the opportunity. I also think that he would help our pass rush and take some of the attention off of cole creating more sack opportunity's . The dolphins are only releasing him because he's got personal conflict with the team and he asked to be cut. It could be deeper than that but that's all I know baout the situation.
