I found this link in an article from the AJC. It's an interesting read about Koetter's offensive philosophy. We may have gotten that aggressive OC we've always wanted. I feel better about this hire.

Despite SI.com calling Kroy a linebacker, this is a pretty awesome picture.

While we don't like to ever see players get hurt, this does allow Smith and Co. to exclusively prepare for Dennis Dixon.

I wasn't a big fan of this slogan for the season. I am now.

Thanks to a link on the SBN Atlanta site, I found a link that says we have the 4th best offensive line in the league, behind only New Orleans, New England, and Baltimore. Carolina and Tampa Bay come in at 19 and 20, respectively.

A leaked Steeler's schedule shows that the Falcons go up to Heinz Field on September 12. That happens to be within the first 4 weeks on the season, the suspected length of a potential suspension for Ben Roethlisberger. That could be a real boon for us to play them without their best offensive weapon.

My brother sent me this collection of pictures from the 09 Season. It has a few too many preseason pictures, but Grimes' interception of Drew Brees is sure to bring a smile to your face.

You gotta love it when teammates stick up for each other. Lets hope Tony G comes out on fire. I predict he catches 2 TDs, and throws for another 3.

The Falcoholic The Thing That Scares Me The Most

We had a great 2008, and if things go well, we should have a great 2009, but ladies and gentlemen, I am downright terrified.  I'm not afraid of our lack of activity in the free agency.  I'm not afraid of our very tough schedule.  I'm not afraid of the prospects we'll get in the draft.  I'm not even afraid of our franchise's inability to put two winning seasons together.  I'm afraid of a different kind of curse: the madden one.  Its a fact.  No player has had a good year (or even a good career) after appearing on the cover, our own Michael Vick included.

Now, I know its unlikely that a Falcon will be on the cover again (Vick was on a cover 5 years ago), but with the Rookie of the Year and one of the league's leader rushers, I'm downright terrified.  Does anyone else share my irrational fear?
