First off let me say what a year this has been. We truly have reached a low point in this franchise's glorious history. If you asked me 5-6 years ago where I'd thought we'd be as an organization I'd have said we would probably be on our way to our 2nd or 3rd championship. but no. that is not the case.

Anyways I'm writing this today because I've recently come into some information that would be very volatile if in the wrong hands. luckily it was donned onto me and as such I felt it proper to disseminate such information to the one place where true Suns fans reside. Unfortunately the AZcentral wont let me post articles so this was my next place:p

A few Days ago I received and anonymous tip, informing me that the
Suns were going for Rudy gay. I thought"this is rubbish. nothing but hot air, Why would the Grizz do this? Hours later I saw the headline on yahoo from A. Woj about Grizz Forward Rudy Gay being on the trading block and the Suns being the main suitor. Coincidence? maybe.

This news brought swift uproar to BSOTS and caused a schism between the normally well mannered and mentally stable members. There were those who "Claimed it to be a gift from the basketball gods" While there were those who said that "Rudy gay isn't better than
Dudley" and "he is over-rated". And then there was me still hoping Beasley could get some more minutes. and still wondering why Tony Allen never washed his hands that night we met in that restroom in Memphis.

So there was much Debate and for awhile we had something to talk about on bright side other than Shabazz and Wiggins and Kate Upton's Tits.

Then suddenly...it all stopped.

Suns and Grizz FO's we're in Hard talks. according to sources the basis of the deal was Dudley and some expirings along with a 1st rounder TBA for Gay and possible cash/filler. A pretty nice trade for a team desperate to keep its fan base happy and needing to inject some life into its dying term who was probably one or two more bad season from ending up in Seattle.

Then the report came in.

Jared Dudley: The heart of the team, The guy who has barely missed any games all year, The Captain, JMZ, The JunkYard Dawg, The dude who coined "WHATS UP" on Brightside at Blake Griffins expense.....hurt his hand/wrist?

And boom, just like that, The promise of Rudy Gay Coming to help be the cornerstone that would life us out of these ashes, was gone. and Just like that no one was trying to go after Duds.

Why did he do it? what was/were his motive(s)? Was the resurgence in Earl Clark's play involved? And Why was MMotherwell so bent on making sure we did not get Rudy Gay at any cost.

Jared Dudley is a Man known more for his off the court accolades that his on the court ones. with over 135,000 twitter followers, most of them being suns fans, its pretty clear that it would not be easy to simply, give that up. If he left town his fan base would drop considerably. Here in Phoenix he is the (best looking) face of the Franchise. No one else stepped up to fill the power vacuum created when Nash and Stat left so he pretty much was the man by default. Even though he uses His power as the "Face to garner for attention and send out tweets that wouldnt even make it on to Wikipedia as real premium info.

If he were sent to Memphis he would probably be the 4th/5th/maybe 6th most popular player on the roster. combine that with the fact that people in Memphis don't no how to tweet and you've got a recipe for social media fame disaster. in about 4 months Dudley would probably end up as popular and well known as Marquise Daniels or Eddie House. Just "that" dude. Its pretty messed up. Had he not "shattered his hand" we probably could have netted something decent for him.

So in Conclusion

Dudley faked an injury or injured his hand on purpose(still waiting on X-ray confirmation) to escape the trade block that he seems to end up on every year but magically avoids because he is to loved. He did it for the Tweets....and maybe to stay in the same division as his secret man crush Blakey-poo

Channing and Kieff among best in league at the 1+1+1

For fantasy buffs i guess. I read this article that showed how Frye and Morris are among leaders in players who hav one 3pt fg ,one block, and one steal games.
this seems easy but then you realize its not an easy feat and takes a very versatile player to rack up these kinda games. Frye has 16(top 5) and Morris has 11. Ill admit im not huge Frye fan but overall hes has stepped it up. now start hitting those threes and use your speed and handle!

Have We Missed The Whole Point? Defense & Depth Wins Championships

Phoenix Suns 2011-12 Bench

Telfair - Playing to prove hes not a bust.

Brown - Playing with his best numbers in a better system, on a 1 year deal to show the NBA hes worth a big contract.

J-Chill - Playing like he did in ATL with more minutes.

Morris/Hak- Playing with the tough inside presence that we need and to prove hes the better brother/playing like the man we paid him to be.

Lopez - Playing like 09-10 Lopez and maybe even better being in his final contract year.

If you look around the west,which is what most of are games will be, We have one of the better benches this year, in terms of scoring and defences which is what we lacked last season.

Dallas - Losing players to FA.

LA - A freaking mess/older and lost Odom who is key to there big depth.

Portland - The coach might be the healthiest person on the team.

Denver - In chaina and the anly players who arent are in FA. that and 7 players show up to camp.

SA - In decent shape and will fair well in a short season. they have the best coach in the West.

OKC- deep as hell. My favorite to be the 1 seed

Mem - Deep but had players playing for contracts last season. the lack of offseason moves will help them retain chemistry but the constant trade chatter of Mayo and Rudy Gay wont help,

We should feel OK knowing that the most offseason drama a suns fan had to endure is whether or not Grant Hill will re-sign. Chemistry and grit is how we made it to the WCF, not STAT.

Will Channing Frye "Take his Talents" to the next level?

Channing Frye is one of the most unique NBA players out there today. his skills sets scream small Forward yet his body says postman. but his mind says leave me alone im gonna go hit this three. Frye to me is more than meets the eye. Last summer he sign a 30 million dollar contract that many said was way overpriced. they said that hed just fall back and take his money. Frye proved them wrong. he started the season off rocky at best, but then again so did the whole team. changes in line can mess with players. it seemed as if he was a singing bust

Then something happened. once phx established its rotations frye finally found his consistency and bounce. and what was even better...He found a post game. Now its not like he tuned into "the Dream" or anything but he was proving that hes not done elevating his game. he started to use the skills sets that he hadn't for so long. he found his "upside" lol. he went around slower bigger forwards and shot over smaller ones. combined with his Shot and clutchness, he went from mismatch qualities to "versatile". Im not saying Channing Frye is gonna pull a '06 Dirk after he lost and go add fade away jumpers and an unstoppable post game to his arsenal but were are all witness after seeing the 2011 finals of what a shooting bigman can do. Everyone is always screaming that we need to trade him away for a PF or put hi on the bench but thats only because when replace amare with Cahnning we didnt replace channing. Warrick was a bust. with the addition and a Conventional PF in Morris and now Gortat, Channing can breeze easy knowing he wont have to bang as much down low.

So the point of this article?......

Channing Frye is still young(27) entering his Prime and isnt done improving everyone with little more bulking up and more post and midrange game i think he will prove to PHX that he can be our man. unless we go and get a Horford i say he will be a great starter next year. Allstar? No but then again since when to all-star ballots get rings? (see. Dallas Mavs)

Post Draft PHX and the(immediate) Future

Hello all im a long time listener or ghost reader and first time poster. With all the Drama of the draft and possible deals finally over, its time now that we can come back to reality. first off let me say that even though i was miffed that we msde no deals im still pleased with the pick. Morris, who fits our team better and has PF qualities than his bro, will fit great. we had to be realistic with out pick. Markeif was better NOW than any PF that wasnt euro maybe and the most complete. sure tristan has amazing "upside" (biggest buzz word in this draft than any other btw) but hes not ready for a team thats trying retool for a playoff run now. With this pick its saying we not yet rebuilding as shown by keeping thorat and kid nashty. Morris will be what we needed that kept us out the playoffs. Rebounding and size which are the 2 things that translate in the NBA best. he will complete gortat and our shooting big frye well with his board snatching skills and his midrange game.

Thing is getting a shooting guard in the draft would have ment were rubuilding because every 2g in the draft needed develoment if they were to lead a playoff caliber team. young scorer on a team that intends to get better in rebouding and size and alreadys has good offense isnt what we need if were just retooling. and scorer is something well get in the offseason and maybe a backup pg , im still high that with an offseason brooks will be fine. With the addition of thompson to our rotation that make a very balaced frontcourct thats a contenter in our division and out west. Gortat size and defense. Frye unstoppable Range and new post game, And Morris an almost raw hybrid of both whose young and has more" upside than most think. if we can ship out warrick peachs and or chilly for a SG or back PG or sign a proven scoring Guard like Crawford , Jrich (jamal Crawford highest on my List

then well have a squad. not saying champion ship but look at what dallas did. Balance and the right amount of vetrans can go far. And most of all our bench will be a force again

We are a few minimal changes from being back to playoff form. to much change will kill chemistry but move around some small parts and give and offseason to mesh and we will be back for a run or 2 after that if we dont succeed then im say blow it up but you cant fault the team for believing. I believe and im ready
