I read an intresting delima for the Phins on ESPN that Pat White creates. If they start Pennington and use White in the Wildpat, then Henne must be the 3rd string emergency QB. This would mean White mops up against the Pats and Jets when we are up by 30 in the fourth quarter . This gives White a big advantage as the Quarterback of the future. He will be the one getting the seond string snaps each week, not Henne

and Chad don't Twitter...

Chad Pennington | Dolphins

Indicating within his bio as that he is "a leader, not a follower" , the Twitter version of Chad Pennington has had some choice quotes over the past few months. "Cooking dinner, 40 oz. porterhouse, 2 baked potatoes, zuccini, and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon... Chad has a big appetite." " There was a meeting of billionaire philanthropists, I had to send in a rain check...I'm that good at the stock market..." "Got my playbook in the ice bath with me, gotta study in game conditions, cold, with every muscle aching...that's how you win in December..."

As you can guess from the headline, it's not actually Chad, as the Miami Herald reports. "I need to send out a press release or something!" the Miami Dolphins gunslinger told the Herald's Jeff Darlington. "Can somebody please let the world know I don't have Twitter or Facebook or any of those things?"

Although Chad took the ruse in stride, his Twitterpostor was much more innocuous than those impersonating Ben Roethlisberger and DeMarcus Ware. Big Ben's online copycat posted a false message indicating that he had contracted skin cancer, while Ware's sent the rumor websites spinning with news that a long-term contract was close at hand; of course, both statements proved to be false.

There really isn't much stopping these false accounts from continuing to pop up, so take anything you read there with a grain of salt... and a 40 oz. porterhouse.

Former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Torry Holt agreed to a three-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday . The Jags have the 8th pick, does this mean they address a different posistion early in the draft? They have Dennis Northcut and Troy Williamson. They could still use some help but maybe this signing means they go in a different direction, Maybe some of the top recievers slide a little bit farther down the board. Probably not, but food for thought...

I don't think there is any way our front office is intrested in this player. Where do you think he will land? Giants? Who has cap room and needs a big mouth reciever? This should be fun to watch play out...Especially now that teams have spent their free agent money. Could'nt have happened to a nicer guy.

Six years after the Dolphins failed to sell out their home venue in time for a postseason game against the Ravens to be televised locally (the game eventually sold out once it was blacked out), the Fins are expecting a stadium-record crowd for Sunday’s return visit from the Ravens.

The previous high-water mark of 73,762 was set after the 1994 season, when the Dolphins hosted the Chiefs in a wild-card game.

Let me start by saying that I am not trying to throw a wet blanket on this year's success, just wondering. Are the Dolphins really that much better than last year? The NFL seems to have no great teams this year. The teams that were suppose to be great have flaws. The Patriots numerious injuries, Peyton Manning's knee, Chargers Shawn Merriman, Rothlesberger etc.

The Dolphins lost several close games last year with many key injuries and the Chambers trade. Just wondering how much better is this years team?

My son and I arrived in Denver last night. I have run into many Dolfans in the hotel and around the downtown area. The weather here is perfect. They had their first above freezing Halloween in 12 years. It is suppose to be 75 degrees today. Looking forward to a great game today. I hope I can bring home a W.
