I want Xavier Henry!!!

He intrigued me before the college season even started, and ill be honest, it was the name more than anything (Xavier...sounds cool) but Ive been liking his game, and I think he can be a brandon roy type player. We trade hinrich and salmons, we struggle through this year, we nab Henry, we get bosh...im liking this team then...

Bulls/Wizards trade idea

Right down to business

Bulls Trade: Salmons + Tyrus

Wizards Trade: Miller + McGee

Bulls do it: Guarantees free cap space for next year, We get three point shooting, and we get a Big man who if no one else, I like. McGee is a project big man like tyrus, he is very athletic and mobile for a 7 footer although requires alot more strength. He has a huge wingspan, which coupled with his athleticism make him a good rebounder and shot blocker. He can actually dunk the ball....Hes super cheap although is a two year contract. We get Mike Miller who is a good shooter, but terrible defender.

Wizards do it: They have all the offense in the world on their team with Arenas and Butler, so john salmons brings a bit more defense, and size to thier backcourt. Salmons is at his best when he attacks the basket and takes 15 foot shots, but on the bulls he is given more a of a peremeter role since we need three point shooting and deng and rose get the midrange to close areas. On the wizards though, butler and arenas basically have the peremeter covered so Salmons will have more shots in his shot range. The wizards also need some depth at the pf positon, especially some size..and they have a real coach who might help tyrus develop. If it doesnt work out they can always let tyrus walk at seasons end.

Its a quick stop gap for this season,and adresses a few needs, although not a blockbuster deal of any sorts. I dont think it helps either team a whole lot, but i think it makes both team better than they currently are...

(Also i didnt think this was such a revolutionary idea that it deserved a fanpost, so i had initially planned for it to be a fan shot as sort of a blurb of an idea, however matt i guess felt that it wasnt in the right spot so i moved it into a fanpost)

Hey guys, Im a bulls fan and right now the bulls are in need of some trades, so i came up with one, but to understand its realistic possibility i thought id post it here to see what Wizard fans thought of it, just in terms of likely-ness.

The trade is

Bulls give up John Salmons (sg/sf) and Tyrus thomas (f)

Wizards give up Mike Miller (sg/sf) and Javale McGee

Trade Deadline Pre-Talk

Post Your trade ideas here, use espn trade machine so at the very least its realistic according to nba league regulations if not logic...

The logic behind my trade is this, tyrus is an enigma who i think will break out this season, but keeping him still affects the cap and leaves the organization to make hard choices. From what ive seen thus far, this organization sucks when faced with hard choices. This trade makes sense for them in that way....

For raptors its harder...the only reason they would/should go for this trade is if the adition of Head O' Turkey glue really does nothing. It would also help if thomas become more of a slashing pf as opposed to a face up jumper. Another factor would be bargnani who im convinced will pan out for toronto, maybe not as a go to guy, but as something between dirk and okur. I also think tyrus would help toronto with his defense, rebounding and slashing ability (all which i hope he demonstrates throughout the season, pre trade-deadline)

Brad miller will be hard to let go of for the organization, no doub they want him to be another assistant player coach....i hope thats a joke.....At any rate he could help toronto because he gives that front court some veteran presence, while keeping within the face up style of play that bosh and bargnani play, so he should be a quick fix, but more importantly he is a huge expiring contract...

...And thats what its about isnt it? If toronto is failing as a team, then thier best bet would be to trade bosh for actually something of substance, while still having the ability to become 2010 players themselves as opposed to wtaching bosh leave the team in the offseason and trying to find a player to fill that void (much harder cuz guys like amare and boozer will probably think, 'huh they couldnt do it with bosh, they wont be that much better with me...i want to win!!!'

Ultimately i think this is one of the most realistic and pro trades for the bulls...theres one other trade i thought up...its not as spectacular...in fact...its probably just a wash...but its more realistic than this one...

Okay this is the first videos im gonna post, it shows the bulls vs the nets in Nba 2k10. Its not hte best video showing the actual gameplay, but because its the only one i found of the bulls thus far i thought id post it...

I put the second quarter first, and the 1st quarter next for a reason. The biggest Being KIRK HINRICH!!! Okay thats not the biggest, THe biggest was because i felt the second quarter had more ingame happennings so that people could actually see what the game was like.

I also put up a non bulls video that shows how the game would look in the association mode (the bulls game is a quick game hence the stupid ai and easy baskets).
I want to note how awesome the game looks, and definetly sounds! The commentary is just spectacular! especially if you listen to the association commentary.

I also put at the very end a video of what Nba live's gameplay looks like to compare the two games....

I want to note that i absolutely love the way this game looks and the animation, but most importantly im LOVING the commentary....its actually intellegent banter that wont get old after the third game....especially if you play the association mode.

Vdn covers a few questions about the upcoming season...beware...theres some Hinrich pre-season hype in here, but if you are anti-hinrich consider it more trade fodder (or your hopes of hinrich being traded vanishing before your eyes heh)
