A Few Ways Warriors can use the TPE

Here are the facts: The Warriors have a trade exception that expires July 10th (tonight) for $9.83M from the Richard Jefferson trade The Warriors are above the cap and close to the tax line,...

Warriors interest in Hinrich?

5

Hoops Rumors via USA Today is making the connection that we could be interested in picking up Hinrich to lead the second unit. For the money and to only have to give up a TPE to get him, this might be just the kind of talent we are going to be looking at getting. If my choice is assets for Lowry or Miller or Hinrich for salary relief, I'll take Kirk. The guy has playoff experience and for 15 min a night Ill take it

Long time Warrior Fan here; love the energy of the new season. I know the roster is incomplete at this point with HB still looking to come back healthy, but something obvious about last night's...

Optimist

I log in this morning to GSoM to see that the boards have already been hit with "Kings are starting to look very good" message. It seems I am a bit too late...  alright folks, lets try this again....

A little reason why I love Bay Area sports.. esp. the Dubs

Im at the top of the list when it comes to optimistic sports fans. I am one of the 5 on this site that will constantly see the brighter side of the front office (except for the j rich trade... still bitter). I was reading Rick Riley on espn today, and he made a note about Scott Soshnick and our front ofifice. Here is a link to Scott's article (even a small tip about the Sharks). Made me love them once again...

"To the Warriors of Golden State. In a two-year stretch marred by incompetence, indifference and poor public relations, they somehow ended up with a nucleus of Andris Biedrins, Anthony "The Breakout" Randolph, Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry, Brandon Wright, Stephen Jackson and Corey Maggette that looks orgasmically exciting on paper … well, until you remember there isn't a distributor in the mix. Will it be interesting? Yes. Will it be fun? No question. Could we see a fight between two teammates at midcourt over who gets to shoot? Sure. Will Randolph sob on the bench at least 12 times? Absolutely. But at least it will be interesting, dammit." —Bill Simmons, NBA Off-Season Column

In defense of the W's Front Office

Listen, sounds like the great thing to do these days is to trash the warriors front office and call them inept. All I have seen them do in the past month is: #1: Ditch a bad contract in J Craw, who...

Interesting Baron Article

Check out this article on Baron Davis from Bill Simmons, "The Sports Guy" on ESPN.com. Im a fan of Bill's work, who is speaking as a season ticket holder of the Clippers who has been complaining about Baron since the signing. Interesting read, pretty much backs up, quotes and all, everything we thought and said about Baron Davis from the start. Enjoy
