The mets released Ruben Gotay. I think he would be an upgrade over luis rivas. Well he would, but i definately think they should go after him only 25 and last year did a nice job starting at second. If you read on it says that he is almost a lock to make the 25 man roster at the begginning of the season.  Hmm.  6 eras are locks now? Also gave some 23 year old shortstop who never played above A ball a contract.  Wow.

Brandon Inge wants out of Detroit with teh arrival of miguel cabrera and a Detroit newspaper said the pirates were interested but wary about the contract issue.  I'm not too sure if Inge is a big step over Jose Bautista about same average but Inge has more power.  It didn't say anything about who would be sent over in return.  But what is everyones take on Inge?

From what i read hes going for a prospect or two, but there was a report that the yanks offered phil hughes for marte snell and a prospect.  I highly doubt that that package was offered but shame on huntington for not jumping on it if it was available.  I just read that Jose Tabata could be involved. Hes the yanks #2 prospect at 19 years old. (once again i doubt it)
