I was born in Texas and am a 4th generation Dallas Cowboys fan. I moved around a lot throughout my life and basically grew up in Central Florida as a Florida State Seminole fan. I was there throughout the first half of the 90's when the Seminoles won a lot and also had a lot of heartbreakers.

I came to the Boise area in late 2003, was slowly exposed to the local Boise St Broncos and, by 2008, had been convinced that Chris Petersen was a great coach. Now it's nearly 2014 and FSU is the national champion favorites, Boise St has nearly single handedly forced a CFB Playoff, and Chris Petersen is finally going to take a shot at coaching in the Bigs with Washington. Although, I'd like to keep him in Boise, I can't say I'm not content with my cfb situations right now.

Video: FSU Miami series recap

Made from a Seminole fan's perspective, but goes over the history and credits the Canes where deserved. I can't say it's neutral, but it is just left of neutral imo. I posted here because I thought it would be entertaining to you guys as well. I am not at all trying to troll you. I am, in fact, hoping for your continued rise under Golden. The rivalry means so much more when Top 10 rankings and National Titles are on the line. State pride plays a role as well. Good luck on Saturday, but not too much :p

BYU rolls over Utah St.

So, a perennially overrated BYU squad shellacked Utah St. and put Chuckie Keeton out of the game with, what looks like, a pretty serious injury. While I would have preferred facing Utah St.'s best, there can be no doubt that Keeton's injury casts a very long shadow over Utah St.'s hopes to beat our improving Bronco team. This was the biggest hurdle standing in the way of what is starting to look like a destined revenge game with Fresno St. at the end of the year...a hurdle that has been significantly lowered with Keeton's injury. We still need to play the game of course, and there is the always upset minded Wolf Pack remaining, but it's shaping up to be a Wyoming @ Boise St. for the division kind of battle...and I REALLY like our chances in that game towards the end of the year.

This might be the stiffest Fresno St. challenge in years. It's been a long rivalry and history shows there are more blowouts than close contests. It's also been somewhat cyclical, with one team or the other dominating for a stretch of years. The unique aspect to this game is that it may not be the only time we meet this season.

Coach Pete recaps spring practice. At the 9:22 mark he talks about WR DJ Dean tearing an ACL. He mentioned trying to get him back for Fall Camp but then goes on to say that Dean will give it another shot NEXT year. DJ is a local product coming in off his RS year as a RS Frosh. Best of luck to him in his rehab efforts.
