I can't bear the thought of the season ending and no Warrior basketball
for a couple of months. With just one game left in the season, I feel
that anxiety- you know, the feeling that you get when you know that a
breakup is imminent. You wish it didn't have to end, but you know that
it is going to anyway. This whole season has felt like a long-term
relationship- ups and downs, nights when I feel like bawling my eyes
out and others nights when I am completely ecstatic and never want the
feeling to end.

Even though the Warriors had an absolutely fantastic year (how can you
complain about a winning season?), I still feel a bit disappointed and
let down by how the team played over the last month. It was right there
for them to take- but it didn't seem like they wanted it. They didn't
play with the energy, tenacity and intensity of that we know they are
capable.

My favorite parts of the season:
*Baron's game winning threes in the Lakers and Celtics game
*Watching Monta develop as a player and shoot the lights out in Feb
*Buke's development- he's a beast in the making

I am anxious about what will happen in the off-season. I hate that
professional sports run more like a business and that the concept of
loyalty does not exist. I have a feeling that the team will look quite
different come fall, which makes me a bit sad. As those who know me can
attest, I am very emotionally involved with my teams and I would be
absolutely devastated should Baron and Monta sign elsewhere.

Anyway, thanks to my fellow GSW die-hard fans for making the wins even
more enjoyable and the losses more bearable; after all, misery loves
company. Here's to a great season and looking forward to the next.

Warriors, baby.
