CERRATO RESIGNS!!!
NFL Correspondent Written on December 17, 2009

How Happy are you that Vinny Cerrato is gone?
In breaking news out of Washington Redskins VP of Football Operations Vinny Cerrato has resigned.
Whether it was of his own design or forced upon him the one thing that is certain is Redskins Fans everywhere are happy.
This is obviously an indication of a full house cleaning within the Redskins organization.
As a Giants fan I am happy that they decided to do this before a key game when my Giants take on the Redskins this Monday night.
However with Mike Holmgren looking for an executive job, i am also worried that this will lead to Washington righting the ship and competing in the already tough NFC East.
Are you watching Snyder?
There is another debacle brewing...
Is it me or do we seem to be continually rearranging the deck chairs on our proverbial titanic?
The Washington Post is reporting that Redskins OC Smith will move to the sidelines and will relay the plays to QB Campbell after getting them from OC Sherm in the box.... HC Zorn will still be allowed to listen in but do nothing....The title of the article should have read:
"Redskins offense is going to be playing telephone on the sidelines while the Eagles devour Jason Campbell".
Seriously, how much farther will this circus go?

Breaking: Zorn has been fired as head coach of the Redskins!
In a shocking surprise move, Snyder has decided to fire Redskins head coach Jim Zorn. In an even more shocking move, Snyder has opted to replace Zorn with himself as head coach. Snyder also annouced he will coach from the Jumbotron on Monday Night rather than from the more traditional roll on the sidelines. Marcus Mason delivered the news to Zorn after coming down from the meeting with Cerrato where Mason was told he too was no longer needed.
It was leaked to the media Tuesday night that Snyder just wasn't happy with Zorn's "Ned Flander's" style of coaching and doesn't feel there is any other way to motivate his lack luster team. He feels strongly that his players would perform better if they were to see him appearing from the jumbotron periodically during the game to assets their game play. "Snyder believes that he will be a far more effective coach shouting down from the jumbotron rather than the more traditional head coaching roll on the sidelines. He doesn't feel a coach is as effective on the sidelines" his front office spokesman said.
Snyder was overheard in a meeting saying, "My investments will have to perform better Monday night or they will be called out in front of millions on National Television." This apparently was followed by a forced evil laugh in which Snyder turned to Cerrato to ask it was believable enough....

"We're off to see the Snyder, the wonderful Snyder of OZ..."
Sources close to Snyder said he contemplated coaching from his helicopter hovering over the field with a large PA system attached below, but decided against it because he was afraid the wind from the helicopter would interfere with Redskins punts and field goals. He is still keeping this as an option apparently, if the Redskins do not react favorably to the new coaching situation by half time.
All players were made aware of the situation by a flyer left in the locker room by Cerrato's assistant Tuesday morning. Campbell was asked about the new coaching situation and said, "We just need to listen to our many leaders and try and be ourselves at the same time. I won't let it distract me."
Redskin's VP was not immediately available for comment as he was busy overseeing the construction of the set inside the owner’s box for Monday night's matchup....
Zorn has been relegated to locker room trash collecting duties by VC
VC let Zorn know who is boss by telling Zorn that he is now only responsible for drying towels and making sure the locker room bill board display is locked at night. Zorn replied that he is ok with towel duty but said that the bill board really scares him.
Is this a professional football franchise or a circus sideshow?
We now have a head coach who will not be calling plays!?!? and worst of all it was publicized! Having a head coach on the sidelines that does not get involved with playcalling is like owning a fighter jet but only using it to run errands! Let me clarify, Zorn is no fighter jet, so why keep him around? I think removing his play calling duties is just like firing him without the PR nightmare. We are a laughing stock.
One thing occured to me when watching this game with my nephews - they have no recollection of a successful Redskins season - nothing positive since Snyder took over. My nephews are 16.
I love Riggo. Riggo is right - Zorn has been castrated.
I image Snyder must be becoming like so many failing dictators before him; crazy, unhinged, paranoid and sociopathic. I can just picture Snyder - manic, sweating, licking the windows inside his helicopter while in transit to meetings, games, coach hunting...
I can't wait to listen to the Radio in the morning.
blahblahblah
blah blah blah blahblah blah blah blahblah blah blah blah blahblah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Snyder is a suck ass owner and Zorn will be fired this week.
Does any body remember this debacle?
Just in case any body has forgotten, please watch:

One debacle after another, Snyder needs to go. I am torn between trying to support my team and not supporting Snyder. I don't know how one does this. You either don't buy tickets and watch our stadium fill with out of town fans or you go and show your frustration at the field.
I know the Eagles fans wouldn't put up with what has happened to our team. I hate the Eagles but thier fan base would not put up with this from thier owner. Philly would burn.
F@ck Snyder. I am done too!
Snyder needs to the sell the team. He is a shit bag and a curse on Washington. He has turned the Redskins into a bunch of overpaid quitters. I can't remember the last time I was so pissed off. Like you, I have witnessed some pretty shitty Redskins seasons, but you have finally won Mr Snyder. You have made me hate you and my team. You are a shit bag Snyder. You are a shit bag Snyder. You are a shit bag Snyder.
Go ruin the other businesses you have like Six flags and Johnny Rocket...oh wait, you already have. Shit, that right. You are a shit bag after all, aren't you?
we are poo poo...
I am a life long die hard Redskins fan and seriously considered in absolute hysteria this afternoon choosing another team to follow. I can't though, so I am just going to watch college football on Saturdays and boycott Dan Snyder's vomit inducing suck fest each week. I can not stomach watching the Redskins anymore.
After a loss like this, seeing Redskin players smiling and yuking it up with the Lions players in the center of the field after the game says everything.
Over and out!
