USC Penalties Upheld, Pat Haden Pinches Neck
USC fans mad. This UT fan experiencing a certain amount of unapologetic schadenfreude. The replies to the post are correct in some ways. Auburn is erecting a statue of a guy who played one year for them while under heavy NCAA scrutiny. Jim Tressel digging in his heels and trying everything short of an appearance with Jesse Jackson to mitigate his disaster. Yet the NCAA upheld the hammer blow to USC athletics. UT fans await the midsummer rulings for basketball and football.

Like it says, a 6-1, 200 pound CB is a good thing to have when facing the WRs of the SEC. Guy seems to have a great family. I haven't seen much tape of him, but he is legit (and he spurned Lane Kiffin, which always moves someone up a notch in my book). --On Edit-- this might be a pay portion of their site. I apologize if this is the case.

Never posted a FanPost before, but I had a little time this morning and just watched Josh McDaniels Monday presser in all of its smug glory.
First it was Tom Coughlin telling any media member who would listen about how he told his players about the dirty tactics employed by the Titans and how he repeatedly instructed his team to avoid being "drawn in". Evidently the Giants' players had no culpability in committing 5 personal fouls in the game. Josh McDaniels (and Kyle Orton) continued the refrain during their pressers, stating the Titans are a dirty team and anyone can see this based on watching film.
I found Fisher's retort lacking. If he doesn't come out harder against this, refs will naturally start watching the Titan players more closely and getting even itchier flag trigger fingers. Why not reference CJ's helmet getting ripped off with no flag thrown? Why not reference the 3-player body slam of VY by Pittsburgh where a fine was assessed despite the absence of a flag being thrown on the play.
My whole point is that if Fisher doesn't expose the comical comments of Orton and McDaniels, refs will start throwing flags against the Titans with increasing regularity. Couple this with Cecil's bird shot and it becomes a recipe for more scrutiny of the Titans defense.
Am I overreacting to this or might this be a real concern?

How Tobias spends his time at 2am. Didn't know if this had been posted on here yet. Sent to me by a lawyer buddy who has a good point- there are a lot of young kids making great decisions out there. Something about a few bad apples spoiling the cart and whatnot. It's Basketball Time In Tennessee!
Tebow on punt coverage?
From alligatorarmy.com, a site I read more often than I'd like to admit. Tebow is getting hammered by the NFL "experts". I temper their comments by remembering these are many of the same yahoos that thought Ryan Leaf was better than Peyton Manning.
