I grew up in KC during the low points of Royals fandom ('04 HS graduation). I have maintained my Royals' fandom ever since. I graduated from OU in journalism and I'm now working at a newspaper in Southeast Kansas. I'm engaged now, which means that I'm eventually going to turn my fiance into a Royals fan. And, since this site seems to be rife with graduate students, I am an MBA student down here... but I've got at least two full Royals seasons left before that's done.
