So if been wondering! What is the real reason on why the eagles have been rivals with those no good giants? Could it been that the eagles first game (October 15, 1933) was against the New York giants and the eagles lost that game 56-0? Could it be that in 1961 the eagles finished just a half-game behind the New York Giants for first place in the eastern conference standings with a 10-4  record?

Was it "the miracle in the meadowlands," when Herman Edwards returned a late game fumble by the giants quarterback Joe Pisarcik for a touchdown with 20 seconds left because the giants decided to run the ball instead of taking a knee resulting in a 19-17  victory for the eagles??????

In 1981 the eagles had a great start winning their first  six games but they eventually ended up with a 10-6 record and earned a wild card berth. However,  they were unable to repeat as nfc champs when they got  knock out in the wild card round by the giants. the giants have won 4 supers bowls, the eagles have none.

In 2007… not that long ago….Donavan Mcnabb... was sacked a total of 12 times by the giants which holds the NFL record.
