I love baseball. Some months I love it more than hockey.  And I have been blessed/cursed to be a Giants fan my whole life.  Amazingly, despite having been to almost 2/3 of the baseball parks, I have never seen a game at Dodgers stadium.  But really, I have no reason to ever go there unless the Giants are playing.  Which they are in mid-July.  And I decided to make a mini-baseball trip of it and am dragging Gray along.  The plan is as follows:

Saturday July 17th Arizona at San Diego

Sunday July 18th  Seattle at Anaheim

Monday July 19th San Francisco at LA

If anyone has advice on things not to miss at these parks, I'd love to hear it (I've been to San Diego and Anaheim, but it's been a while) Also if anyone is interested in going to these games, I haven't bought tickets and could be talked into getting a few more.

Did you know my Birthday is Saturday? I know Gray does. And now you do too. And since I am facing the wrath of my students for skipping prom to go to Game 5, (cause really? No contest) I want to make the evening more awesome and get dinner and livations before the game.  I'm leaning towards Firehouse but I'm open to suggestions.  I'll even be nice enough to let people buy me beer to make the anxiety of the game be more tolerable.

I figure that meeting around 5.00 or 5.30 is prolly best seeing as the puck drops at 7.  I know that Gray is in cause I'll prolly end up picking her up and forcing her to be my friend (just like I have been doing for the last 15 or so years).  So dear Sharks fans, are you in? (TWSS)

As the official Couch Tarts photo girl, I was charged with chronicling all of her exploits during the FTF Night at the Tank.  I did my best to keep up with her and the excitement that she got involved in.  Man that girl can put em away.

So last year there were a couple of occasions when several of us FTFers met up before, during, and after games.  I would like to be able to do that much more often and possibly have one (or two if it works out) official games to meet up for.  I figure if we start talking about this nowish, we would be able to accommodate more people.  If we were able to get enough people willing to go to one game to qualify for a group rate, I would be willing to be the point person on that.  Let me know what you guys think.

I'm looking for anyone going to the game tomorrow to take pictures of the listings for the "My Favorite Things" baskets that are being auctioned at the silent auction booth.  Basically, I'm just curious what is being offered by which players.  I'll post the pictures I took Thursday sometime tomorrow.  I would totally appreciate anyone's effort.  You can post em here or email them to me at princessminako@gmail.com.
