So browsing the interwebz I ran across this interesting little tidbit. It's an old subject at this point, but I've never heard about our old boy Westphal doing a chokesign as well in his lifetime. The post is about 1/3 down the page but I'll quote it here:
"So we all know about the now infamous DeMarcus Cousins choke gesture during the Kings vs. Warriors game and he's been benched for it. I couldn't help thinking about how his coach, Paul Westphal, had made a similar gesture (a two-handed one at that), back in 1993 during game 6 of the 1993 NBA Finals after Dan Majerle missed a 3 that might have sealed the game for the Suns.

Of course he wasn't doing it to an opponent and it was as a joke but it's still interesting that the choke gesture seems to curse one's own team."

Charles Grantham was executive director of the National Basketball Players Association from 1988-95, guiding them through record growth until he resigned after a disagreement with the executive board and then-union president Buck Williams. Grantham was part of the union during the signing four collective bargaining agreements since 1980. Planned events to keep kings fans interested during the lockout

So today, my wife was at work and a ticketrep came in and offered her 4 tickets and 4 bogo's for $30 to Kings games to help try and sell them out AND SHE DIDN'T TELL ME!!! She said they can only do it face to face for that deal and I definitely want to get in on that and know people who would be willing to as well. If you know who that guy is or you are that guy I want to buy those tickets! I also posted this to allow the users here to hear about this mysterious deal. Hopefully we can track this guy down!

The nba is testing out using skin-tight jerseys at the all-start game this year. What do you guys think of them?

I have to do something to get my mind off of the team that must not be named forcing a game 7. So here it is, just a short while after Brown gets fired, and Ferry calls it quits, Izzo says thanks but no thanks to the Cavs. Makes me wonder if there will even be a team for LeBron to go back to...

In other news, Chris Rock is attempting to lure LeBron to New York by asking him if he really wants to live in Cleveland. Personally I don't think a good way to lure a guy to your city is to bash his hometown but that's just me... but I can definitely see his point
