So what we lost a game. It Isn't over!
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...
:the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!
What the ZUG happened to the BSD I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest greatest afternoon in work of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might lose again." Well just kiss my zug from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Tulane, They're dead ! Michigan State, dead! Pryor...

Maybe our OOC Schedule can be awesome
There is an article on collegefootballpoll.com that has Temple finishing the season 11-1 (their only loss is at Penn State) and ranked #22 in the nation. They said that the computers have them playing for the MAC championship as the winner of the east and as this year's Ball State.
I hope they are right not just for our schedule but it would be nice to see Golden doing well. Also it would be nice to have an in state rivalry with a team that can actually play well.

Big Ten Preview
over on tWWL of sports they had a chat going over all the BCS conferences. Adam Rittenberg was answering the questions about the big ten. if you want to check the whole thing out here is a link http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=26580
Here are some of the ones talking about Penn State:
Adam Rittenberg: By the way, Joe Paterno is over sitting at the hotel bar by himself
joe (chicago): whats joepa drinking?
Adam Rittenberg: I don't want to speculate on that. It's something red. It could be a bloody mary, but I don't want to speculate.
Adam Rittenberg: He'd never be able to have a drink alone if he were in Pennsylvania.
Fernando (Mart, TX): Love the blog. Coming out of spring, who are the major Heisman contenders from the Big 10? And is it already Tebow's to lose, before the season even starts?
Adam Rittenberg: It is for sure Tebow's to lose. I think the Heisman has become a QBs award and the Big Ten's problem is that they haven't had a lot of good QBs lately. Darryl Clark from PSU might have a chance, but their schedule is so soft that it will be hard for him to get the recognition early enough to be a good candidate.
Scott (DC): Do you think the decisive game for the Big Ten Championship will be OSU-PSU?
Adam Rittenberg: Definitely going in, that's the way it looks. I think things could change with the Iowa, PSU game earlier, but right now, that looks like the game of the year.
Rick (Howell, MI): How can Penn State NOT be everyone's preseason Big Ten champ pick? Isn't it yours? So they lose some receivers...they were good but not great. Daryll will get the ball to the new ones just fine...GO PENN STATE!
Adam Rittenberg: That's very confident. I like to hear it. I think the bigger issue will be the secondary and the offensive line losing three starters. But PSU has a lot of star players and a very favorable schedule.
John, Michigan: Who are your top three favorites to win? And who is this years Dark horse?
Adam Rittenberg: My top three are definitely OSU, PSU and Iowa. My dark horse would be Michigan State. I like the way the schedule sets up for them. Illinois is a potential dark horse, but they were so disappointing last year that it's hard to put them in that category.

Lavar Arrington Predicts Big Success For Dolphins’ Pass Rusher
Posted by Aaron Wilson on April 29, 2009, 8:56 p.m.Now that he’s retired from the NFL, three-time Pro Bowl linebacker LaVar Arrington stays busy with the restaurants he owns and by offering advice to fellow Penn State football alums.
And Arrington has kept a close eye on Buffalo Bills newly-minted first-round draft pick Aaron Maybin as well as former CFL star Cameron Wake, who is playing under a four-year, $5 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, according to Tim Graham of ESPN.com.
Wake, who recorded 31 sacks during two seasons north of the border with the British-Columbia Lions, emerged as a top pass rusher in the CFL after going undrafted and biding his time initially with banking and working as a personal trainer.
Now, Wake is primed for a pass-rushing role with the Dolphins.
“That’s a heck of a story,” Arrington told ESPN.com. “He’s like Cinderella Man. That’s one of those stories where you’ve got to say, ‘Man, if you don’t believe that dreams can come true, then he’s one of those you have to look at.’
“He has to say, ‘If I didn’t go that extra mile, if I didn’t work a little bit harder, I actually cheated myself out of possibly realizing my dream.’ That personifies what he represents.”
So, why wasn’t Wake, who was known at Penn State as Derek Wake, an NFL draft pick?
According to Arrington, Wake’s work ethic didn’t match his vast physical ability. And that combination predictably landed him in Joe Paterno’s doghouse.
“He went there and was athletic as all get-out,” Arrington said. “There never was a question about his athletic ability. It was a question about his desire and his intensity.
“What happened from that time when he left Penn State to when he started playing in Canada, I don’t know. But it wasn’t the same man. It’s not the same guy. That’s pretty awesome that he’s getting an opportunity to play in the NFL after all that.”
