We are definatly not alone
The Phoenix Suns have already/are showing up in droves, as many and as early as our guys. They are excited about Porter and a new defensive focus, and it looks like their getting their game faces on. Rookies and vets alike are allready practicing a 4 and a half weeks before training camp. Watch the vid. Check out the date.
How does this affect us?
Did we set a new pecident?
Does this increase the dificulty of a championship bid? Does this take away any advantage we might have had?
I'm going to keep an eye out for other teams coming in early, but if anybody has any news of other teams showin' up to put in the extra effort, please post any links or make a new fanpost. This type of effort from the opposition has a direct bearring on our prospects for success, I think, and I really want to know how some of you BEdge regulars perceive this or these events. Any insight welcome, and please add links to any stories of other teams adhering to the new standard. Please weigh in.

Carlos Boozer - Strictly Buiseness
Do the jazz really want to keep this guy? By many accounts, the 4 could be played by [insert Russian name hear]. Apparently thats his natural position, where he is happiest playing, and where he actually earns his paycheck. Is Boozers defence really any better then Andreis'?
I've been lurkin' hear trying to learn more about one of the hardest teams to beat in the wild west. So when I came accross this little mini-interview, I thought of this place. It seams, and you all know, that Betrayal Skull Dude, is looking for his next big paycheck, and doesn't care where he gets it.
I'm just wondering what the Jazz thinks their gonna lose when he walks. If the Russian can play that role, well...What wood a trade look like if that was decided to be the best move? What position do you see as a need? Is there any chance he'll stay? Is it worth it to keep stunting Kirilenkos performance?
Boozers in the olypics, and I know the guy can score, it just seams inevitable to me, an outside that he is leaving. I'm just wondering.

The Front Office
I have spent the last few days travaling from site to site, in and out of SBNation, and the one seaming universal truth shared by ALL of the sites I visited, is the lack of trust felt for their front office. NOT ONE site i visited succeeded in concieling concern with their GM/Owner. There were issues of players wanting to leave, failed contract negotions, skeptical trades, complaints of longstanding holes left at various positions, cheap ownership, horible chemistry experiments. There is so much uncertanty out there and in some cases, simple resignation. Peppered thoughout, is an amazing amount of mention of KP and gang. And we are not the only ones who think we could be a 50 win team this year, allot of playoff teams are saying as much, Rockets, and Jazz, for example. It seams we have it good, right now.
It seams to me that KP and krew, have endiered themselves, and built a lot of trust. I've found myself thinking, and have read it in the comments on this sight, that "If KP made the trade, I would be ok with it" or "As long as KP saw something in him, then I would back that move" ect. ect. We've all seen this multible times by now.
I'm qurious, Do we trust them that much? Should we trust them that much? Do we really have it that good? or should I slow down on the Koolaid? Am I alone in this fealing?
Feal free to add any links to other sites, if you like to look around.
Junk Drawer / 8-5-08 Starting at New Time : 3am
its 206 in the morning and im tired, its time to go to bed. but first to tend to the daily chore of opening another drawer for the summer daily overflow. Question - whats the ratio of time you spend on the BEdge, home to work. for me, since internett was banned at my old work, its allways been 100% at home activity, 'cept when i would sneek my laptop in. just curious. 'nother question - shouldn't TIH be defacto responsible for the junk drawers, since he kinda is the off topic king and all?
will be sleeping no less then 3 minutes after i click publish

Junk Drawer - 8/4/08 PLEASE UN-REC
im still awake and see that no one has put up the junk box
question, does anyone know how to get the tab-throu feature to work with mozilla? ya know, how when using IE all the unread comments are highlighted untill you either leave the thread or mark as read. by eitheer using the "z" or "x" keys. I like this cause I dont have to reread a whole thread of 68 comments just to find the 3 new responces. with mozilla, when I enter a thread, all the comments are markedd as unread immediatly, and the "z" key doesnt let me tab-throu the comments.
oh yah, random thoughts go hear.

Blasing Embers - July 20th, 2008 edition
The kid sitting next to me just asked if I smoke. I told him no, then he pointed to the title of this thread...Hahahahaa...oooh thats to funny...
I should be sleeping but instead Im a BEdge hound. One of the things I really like is all the links that I would never find myself, if it wasnt for this site. I think there should be a daily news thread wair(I can never spell this word) people put all relavent news links for the day. That would be fully pro.

Junk Drawer - 19th - (Blazing Embers)
So im hanging out at the subway, and just had the biggist sandwich EVER!! A footlong with four portions of philly cheesesteak with 8 slices of cheese in between each portion, and bacon. Visualise, spread over a footlong, first, layer 2 portions of chease steak, then chease then t2o more portions of chease steak, then more chease, then 6 strips of bacon, with more chease, topped with onions. then toasted.
(all meat preheated for better chease melting)
next, add mayo, yellow peppers(six for each side), jalopenies, (just three per six inch) then pepper to taste. Fold and roll.

Junk Drawer - I guess apropriate for my first fan post, lol.
Any way, Ive been begging for bedgers to make my life easier by making your links open to a new window so as to not unmark unread comments. Discovery- If I hold cntrl when clicking on a link, the link will open to a new tab. Even better, by holding shift when clicking a link, the link will open to a whole new window with its own little bar at the bottem of my screen. This tech stuffs really cool
I will stop crying about links now, and posted this just incase there is another tech-tard out there like myself.
