Grievance
I would like to comment on the 'fuck Dunta' comments that continue to plague my favorite blog. The first time I saw the comment I remember thinking that it was a funny and deserved attack on a player that was ungrateful, tactless and unprofessional. As I'm sure we all know, Dunta is no longer employed by our beloved Houston Texans. He is probably still riding the high of having pulled off the biggest con of the offseason. Good for him and better for us. He is finally getting the money he so dearly thought he deserved, and we no longer have to put up with his shenanigans. However, for some reason, his presence is still felt. Not through ties of any sort to the team, but with comments, jokes and polls. The joke has become an annoying, screechy broken record. It no longer comes off as funny, but rather as an overused, lazy and desperate attempt at humor. I propose that on this day of the first round of the 2010 NFL draft, we usher in a new sense of change and replace any hatred with Dunta with a sense of hope and optimism towards our new rookie CB(s).
