What's the point of replay for umpires in MLB if they're not even going to use it??

Tonights mistake is inexcusable to miss a call like that and not even go look at it! I'm livid about this...

Someone please tell me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think I am. The argument by Ron Washington didn't last very long, I wonder what the 2nd base umpire had to say about it. 

Texas Rangers outfielder, Josh Hamilton injured his shoulder this morning at Spring Training during outfield drills. Hamilton dove for a ball and hurt his shoulder. Rangers have announced that it is a shoulder contusion and he is listed as day-to-day. Today was the first day of drills for position players. There is no scheduled MRI for Hamilton. 

Josh has a long list of injury problems, noting back to last season when he only played 89 games.
