When does one say enough
I have been a Ranger fan since I was a kid, I am now 35 years old and sick of this crap. It is sad when March is the highlight of your season. These last 5 days have been a beating. I am considering filing for baseball fan free agency. What is keeping me with this organization. I know they have a promising farm system, but there is only so much excitement I can muster up about that seeing how this organization has been managed in the past. It is a beating I tell you.

Rangers Fan Fest
We had a blast, didn't stand in any lines for autographs, as I feel I am way too old for that, and my kids are still too young for that, but we did walk buy and see BGL signing away, there was a huge line.
I just want to know who was the person that hung up a pair of Calvin Klein briefs in Blalock's locker?

Michael Young
I just flew back into town this morning and on my way to the car I bumped into Michael Young. He was dropping his wife off at the airport it looked like. Briefly greeted him, he was friendly.
OT: Greensboro, NC
I have been offered a job there (currently live in Frisco). Nice offer, but can't decide if I want to take it.
Anybody have any opinions of Greensboro?

I think it is time for Adam to.....
get back to the top 50 Rangers list. I think it is safe to say that nobody on this team will do anything to change the list this season.
Mark Teixeira is on the Today show right now
Sporting a Pink Tie and a Pink bat promoting breast cancer awareness. Nothing really baseball related, just thought I would pass it along.
Chin-hui Tsao
Not Rangers related, but since being called up midway through April he has 10 2/3 IP, 1 hit, 2 BB, 0 runs, 7 k's. That is a pretty nice job for someone who didnt make the opening day roster.
You know your favorite team sucks when..........
......you start researching next year's free agents on April 20th.
......your favorite baseball months are November through March
I'm sure you can think of a few more
Fantasy Prospect Question
Fantasy wise would you trade Nick Markakis or Chris Young (Ari-OF), for Tom Gorzelanny?
All are locked up through 2010 at relatively low prices, althoug i would be taking on a little more salary if I made the trade. I have never been too big on pitching prospects and thus don't follow them as much.
Cowboys signing Davis
ESPN is reporting that the Cowboys are finalizing a contract with Leonard Davis.

Rangers Preview
The Sporting News has their Rangers Preview up if interested.

Bowl Payouts
Anybody have a link that lists the payouts for each bowl game? I can't seem to find one.
Fantasy Help
I have been offered two trades and am having trouble deciding between the two. I have Soriano at $6.00 and his contract expires this year. I have been offered the following.
Soriano for Jose Contreras at 1.50 through next season
or
Soriano for Carlos Zambrano at 1.65 through next season
I am leaning towards Zambrano
Bill Simmons
What is the over/under on him leaving ESPN. 3 months??? His columns have been less and less frequent and he got rid of his intern and didn't replace him. We use to get 3+ columns a week and now it is 1.
I think he is an idiot when it comes to baseball, but he is generally good on basketball. Usually funny on everything IMO.
Jason Hart a Ranger again according to Jamey for a PTBNL
"The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that the Twins have traded first
baseman Jason Hart to the Rangers for a player to be named. Hart, who
was
hitting .225/.267/.425 with four homers and eight RBI in 80 at-bats for
AAA
Rochester, played in the Rangers system from 2002 through 2005 after
being
acquired from Oakland in the Gerald Laird trade ."
Soraino
What would have the odds been preseason if someone was to bet you that come the end of May Soriano would have more HRs than Tex, Hank and Young combined, and be playing in a pitcher's park. I am still in favor of the trade we made, but the dude is on fire, .961 OPS. I wonder how that translates to Adjusted OPS+
Soriano
hit #15 today. I thought he wasn't suppose to have a good year in a pitcher friendly NL park.
I still approve of the trade however. I think.
Cubs/White Sox Fight
Barrett landed one of the best punches I have ever seen in baseball. It was a solid connection. Of course he was in the wrong but I forgive him a little because it was AJ Pierzinski.
OT: I just had a conversation with...
Jim Walton, 6th richest man in the world.
He is a really nice guy, kind of a poindexter, but nevertheless a poindexter worth over $20 billion.
Very very off topic - Texas Bar exam
Sorry for the topic but I know that there were a lot of lawyers on the ESPN board that I think probably transfered over here.
I moved to TX form MN a year ago. I took the TX bar in February and passed. Does Texas give you your scores or is it just a pass/fail. When I took the MN bar it was just pass fail, but I knew a guy who failed the TX bar who said he got his scores. Just wondering if they only give scores to those who fail or everyone. Sorry for the topic.
Rangers still can't crack the top 10
in ESPN's power rankings.

The Indians and The Blue Jays should not be ahead of the Rangers nor should the Red Sox if this is based on current performance.

Baseball tonight
they said tonight
RA Dickey, the RA stands for Runs Allowed.
I like how they are focussing on the Rangers tonight in this negative light.
Laird and Blalock take Buehrle deep
both in the 5th inning. 1st of the spring for both. And Juan Dom gives one up to Pierzinski and Dye.
