Ah, this made my day, Ron Zook with a child molester mustache. This should definitely go up on EDSBS's Mustache Wednesday next week. (H/T TDG)

When it comes to miserable officiating, nothing beats the 2006 Outback Bowl. Cringe as you watch the blown calls against Iowa by the Conference USA officiating crew that "worked" this game. I guess it could have been worse in that MSU game last week.

Ricky Stanzi talks about the upcoming game against Indiana, what it means to be missing some key players, and how he's a true American hero. Shades of Lehman anyone? (T/F/J: Marc Morehouse)

Found this little nugget while I was on the Tribune's website at work today. Seems like Zook is thinking of starting his third string QB on Saturday. Perhaps next week, they'll resort to the Washington State move of holding open tryouts for the QB position. I'm wondering if the AD might consider a second stringer at coach before the season is over?

Tate Forcier Suffers Concussion at Adrian Clayborn's Hands

Adam Rittenberg is reporting that Tate Forcier suffered a concussion after taking a hit from Adrian Clayborn in Forcier's last play of the game. Apparently Rich Rod only found out about it after the game, and it didn't account for him pulling Forcier.

BHGP and the Daily Iowan

A nice tip of the hat by the Daily Idiot's Iowan's writer to the BHGP staff on their "Stanzi the Manzi" shirt design at the end of the article. Not a shock it wasn't that dumb chick who tried to pad the APAKILYPSE's stats. I did want to see some mention of the ISU Girls Aren't Trash T-Shirt that I donned last weekend, but that's neither here nor there.

ESPN Update on Parkersburg

This is definitely one of the finest articles I've read about Ed Thomas since his tragic death in June.
