Tebow to the Donks is great for rivalry
The 2010 NFL draft has been an adventure to say the least, and the landscape of the NFL underwent a seismic shift in the landscape for many reasons, most notably being all the buzz that's surrounding the Seattle Seahawks with the arrival of uber-successful USC coach Pete Carroll, rb's Leon Washington & Lendale White & their numerous sexy draft picks....
But in the AFC West, something else is happening. 2 teams are trying to do the exact same thing @ the exact same time & ending up with some very intriguing possibilities, and the beginnings of what very well may be the NFL's next great division rivalry. Fierce rivalries & bad blood between players & organizations are part of what make the NFL the biggest & most watched sport in the country. Between the Chiefs drafting a multitude of SEC players the last few years and controversial Florida QB Tim Tebow getting drafted by the Denver Broncos, this has the makings of a competitive and very heated rivalry for years to come

menu items in the Chiefs diner
amidst all the tension regarding Whitlock, politics, & the hoopla surrounding the Chiefs acquisition of Charlie Weis, I've decided to make a light-hearted post about what some of the menu items would be at a fictitious Chiefs-themed diner/restaraunt/bar starting with an item honoring our new OC:
suggestions, pics & heckling are encouraged

Now is not the time to jump ship!
AP is a diamond in the roughage of fan-related sports blogs. The fact that it's the most trafficked sportsblog directly related to one particular franchise is alone a great reason to be a Chiefs fan in this tough time for our team, & it speaks volumes about the loyalty & committment of Chiefs fans across the nation and around the world. Many differing views and opinions about personnel, play calls, mock drafts, x's, o's and anything & everything else Chiefs-related makes AP a very dynamic & addictive sports blog that I(and many others) can't keep our modems away from. Also, the fact that AP breaks Chiefs news faster than the Star & the mothership combined doesn't hurt at all.
That being said, there has been a disturbing pattern with some "fans" who would rather burn their red& gold colors, & go support some other team than suffer through this very difficult & trying time for the Chiefs. I am definitely NOT one of those fair-weather fans. That kind of cowardice in the face of adversity would make the great #58 toss & turn in his grave, and there is no place for it in the Chiefs kingdom! Yes, times are hard right now, & the Chiefs suck really, really bad right now, but they won't suck forever and once the Chiefs have returned to greatness, the fair-weather ex-Chief fans will cry & plead for a place @ the party only to be ridiculed, insulted and banished from any celebration that may ensue after our Chiefs win a Super Bowl!
