Turf Show Times My public humiliation in front of NFL stars for being a rams fan

What's up fellow Rams fans. I haven't posted anything in a long time but I thought you guys might get a laugh out of this. My wife and I work/attend at a church in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex area where Cowboys players like Jason Witten, Demarcus Ware, Kenyon Coleman, Texas Rangers CF Josh Hamilton and Anaheim Angels OF Vernon Wells attend. Tonight was a fall festival(christian version of halloween) and my wife and son dressed up as football players. I wore my Steven Jackson Jersey and she wore her Troy Aikman jersey (obviously she's a cowboy fan) and Demarcus Ware and Kenyon Coleman were both there hanging out, and they noticed I was wearing a Rams jersey and started cracking up!!! Not only do I get all sorts of crap for being a rams fan and wearing their apparel in Cowboy land, but now I'm getting laughed at by the players themselves at a CHURCH event....

Rams loyalty = public humiliation but as painful and agonizing as it is watching this awful team play on Sundays, I still love my Rams!

Turf Show Times 2011 Rams Opponents

Well the Rams 2010 season is in the books and next seasons schedule will not be a cake walk at all!!! Click Here For The 2010 Rams Opponents. Five of the 10 non-division foes qualified for the playoffs this season. I live in Dallas and can not wait to see the Rams kick the cowgirls butts one more time!!! Games against New Orleans, Philadelphia, Green Bay, and Pittsburgh may make us look like a sorry team if we don't have a FANTASTIC off-season! Let's hope that the NFC West is still as weak as it was this year and let's capitalize on the NFC West crown in '11...if there is football of course

Turf Show Times 2010 Rams, Thank You

The season did not end the way we would have liked but I can honestly say that I am proud of this team! NOBODY gave us a chance and would have thought that we would be in contention for the entire season! 4-5 wins would have been the most optimistic predictions but this team exceeded that and won 7 games this year. After the last 3 season when we were 6-42 and the complete laughing stock of the league this team this year goes out with a 7-9 record and a bright future!

Sure we are all disappointed and disgusted having to watch the seahawks wear those nfc west champion hats but they will get annihilated by the defending champs next week. As for the Rams we have to have another good draft and get some talent through free agency and we will be the ones sporting those NFC West champion hats next season!

Not gonna rant about the mis-haps and games we let slip by any more. It's over. It's done. We will learn from our experiences this season and it's only going to make us hungry next year and the years to come!

See you guys during the offseason!

GO RAMS!!!!!

Turf Show Times Do we really want to represent the NFC West?

I would love to make make playoffs every year,  but is this team ready for it? Which ever team "represents" the awfully bad NFC West division will more than likely go 1 and done in the 1st round, regardless if they have a home game. If we were to win and make playoffs, we'd probably be facing the defending champions NO Saints. A team that beat us 31-13 in week 14.

The "experts" on espn and other networks are already bashing this division and are wanting to see a change in the playoff process. Should a team that's 7-9 make it to the playoffs if a team from a different division has a better record? Or should the team with a higher record still get home field advantage?

Now back to the rams. I think it would be huge for us to get back into the playoffs so that we can get the experience for the future. I doubt ANYONE on TST believes that this 2010 Rams team is going to win the Superbowl or even play in it. After todays game against the chiefs, we just looked pitiful! too many 3 and outs, bad play calls, and not enough attempts to go down the field.

Now we all know that we don't have the deep threats at receiver but does Shurmer really need to be calling this  dink and dunk offense? I don't know about you but I hate to see us at 3 and 15+ and we do a half back draw. It just seems like the only time we go deep is when it's 4th down and 10+ and what happens? Brad forces it and gets picked off.Sam has not been looking so hot the past few games. I think some of it has to do with teams locking in on Amendola and just allowing Sam the 2-3 yard plays.

Penalties really hurt us today! Somebody commented on the thread about Jason smith being a bust. I for one have never been impressed with Smith and still think that we should have gotten Oher but that's for another post. The commentary also mentioned that they drafted saffold to eventually play at RT and Smith would go to LT but Saffold, a 2nd rounder is the better pass protector for Sams "Blind Side". You can call it whatever you want but Smith to me has NOT been worthy of being the 2nd overall pick of the 2009 draft!

If We make playoffs GREAT but if we don't it's still been a fun season and I'm still hoping that we DO make it in just so the hawks and 9ers sit and watch us but I don't want to be humiliated in front of the whole world!

Anyone agree?

Turf Show Times 6 wins in three previous years, 6 wins (so far) THIS YEAR!!!

I really don't have to much to say other than I'm just glad that after a rough start that we were able to close out the game and get our first win against the cards in 9 tries! 6 wins this year with 1st place in our division and 4 more games to go. Can the Rams pull out the upset that they couldn't get last year against the Saints? Can we win out? Can your st louis rams actually be in this years playoffs? holy crap, don't want to get to optimistic but is 10-6 really a possibility?

LETS GO RAMS!!!!

P.s damn panthers SUCK!!!

Turf Show Times Anybody else nearly have a heart attack???

Last week I posted "Why can't we score more then 17-20 points" but this week if there is ANY question all of us are asking it's probably, why can't we keep a a convincing lead and not let teams come back and nearly give us all a heart attack? Thank God that we held on for the win but if we would have lost we would have all been pissed the hell off! I'm happy that we got the W and that seattle Lost but we just need to keep teams from scratching and clawing there way back in to the game. We saw it happen against Tampa and SF, both games which we should have won!

Special teams sucked today! Josh Brown missing that extra point was embarrassing and those three points that he shanked would have been huge had denver been able to tie it up and force OT. who knows what would've happened had we gone into OT.

Bradford had the game of his life and I was VERY impressed the way he was rolling out the pocket and finding receivers open and throwing the ball away instead of trying to force anything and throwing a stupid pick. Alexander was a playmaker! Hopefully he can stay healthy! Huge sack at the end for Long as we were all prolly shitting our pants.

All in all I'm going to enjoy our first win on the road. We're a young team who has a half game lead in the division, but if we can't keep a lead we could see our playoff hopes slip away. Rams are headed in the right direction and the future is bright!

GO RAMS

Turf Show Times We Can't score more then 17 points!!!

This team need some PLAYMAKERS!!!!

Sam Bradford is a rookie and the coaches KNOW that the only reliable receiver on our roster is Danny Amendola, but why the Hell have they do they NOT use SJAX more than they do? I would understand if Bradford did not have a power back like SJ and stud wrs to throw to but we don't and steven jackson should be apart of the passing game! We are wasting SJ away and you can all see that he seems to have lost a step and maybe that's why the coaches aren't abusing him like in the past but he has to take pressure away from bradford. We all know our offensive playcalls have been terrible throughout the year with only a few "good plays called by shurmer".But with all the letdowns we've had this season(TB,SF,ARI,OAK) why the hell can't we score more than 17-20 points? Why the hell do the coaches play so conservative when we have a lead and why the hell can't we close out a team?

One more thing, THAT SHUFFLE PASS WAS THE WORST!!!!!

Sam will never be considered an elite QB until he can help his team make a comeback in the 4th quarter

Turf Show Times Brandon BLEEPING Gibson!!!

How inconsistent is this fool? I hated the way he would always wave for a flag whenever he did not make a catch last season and I HATED watching him get a 9 yard catch that could have easily been more than that but this dumb ass steps back instead of stepping forward to get the 1st down and puts us in a situation where we are at 3rd and 2. I've seen him do this several times today against the 9ers. The one that really pisses me off was in the 4th quarter when we're up 17-13 with like 5 mins on the clock and he tries to make a play but instead of just stepping forward for the 1st down he loses a yard on his yac. We punt 2 plays later and the 9ers score a TD. He needs to go!!!!!!

Turf Show Times The Rebirth of the St Louis Rams 07,08,09 Seasons: Starring Scott Linehan

44-6

Fourty Four to Six!!!

The St louis Rams coming off of a 2 game winning streak go on the road to play against a very talented 0-4 Lions team and get completely destroyed. We start the game on an attempted onsides kick that the lions quickly recover and it all seemed to go down hill as soon as that ball was kicked by Josh Brown. David Vobora gets injured on the play and does not return. Our Defense gives up the 1st points in the 1st quarter in 5 games holding the lions to  field goal.

On our opening posession, Mark Clayton gets injured and our offense goes straight down the drain. If there was any doubt that this team needs a TRUE #1 WR then this game magnifies the necessity of what a Calvin Johnson Type WR can do for this offense. The Amendola fumble in the endzone was just sickening to watch. I really like Amendola but he's got to hold on to the damn ball. Robinson comes in to the game and what does he do? Drop passes. And can someone please tell me why Darcy Johnson is on this team? Why wasn't Fendi in the game over him? Can we PLEASE go out and trade for Vincent Jackson? I definitely would not give up 1st round pick but I think a 2nd round and 4th would be great. This team is also lacking an elite CB. I would not be surprised if the rams picked a CB in the 1st 3 rounds of the draft in next years draft. Calvin Johnson did what ever he wanted in a jump ball oppurtunity.

Special Teams unit should be renamed "Shitty Teams unit" as they wiffed on Logans 100+ yard TD return. The onside kick wasn't really their fault but it was a "shitty" way to start the game. Mardy Gilyard is a rookie but he shows NO explosiveness as a return man as he tripped on nearly every return.

Sam Bradford did a very rookie like performance as it seemed like to me that he looked for the check down pass way to early and on several plays just threw it to SJ for a no gain or loss of yards. His receivers did make him look like he had an awful game because of all the drops. SJ went over 100 yards rushing for the 1st time this season and is still the leader of this team but the coaches leaving him in the game to tred more tear on those tires being down 44-6 is a dumb move.

I think The worse thing about this terrible loss is the fact that Scott Linehan was on the other side of the field and just raped us! I'll give credit to the Lions, they are a very hungry team with a lot of talent and I know that they were stoked to see us this week and couldn't have asked for a better ass whooping to give us. Both the lions and Rams are headed towards the right direction but if we don't make some aggresive moves in the offseason then we will be looking up to the Lions instead of on par or in front of the Lions as a respectable team. Right now the Lions definitely are ahead of us as far as the future is concerned. Franchis QB(If he can stay healthy), #1 WR, explosive RB, quality TE, and a nasty Def Line. If we can get that Calvin Johnson type WR then we'd be right there with the Lions. Sam Bradford > Matthew Stafford.

I'm so disappointed with our performance but GO RAMS

Turf Show Times The importance of of winning tomorrow

I haven't posted anything on quite a while but man Im so pumped/ nervous/ anxious/ excited for tomorrows game against them she birds. How does the tied for 1st place in the division sound to you? If we win and the Cards lose, that's something we can say. I honestly don't know the last time I've even thought that was a possibilty! Now I don't think we'll win the superbowl but if we win tomorrow I think our schedule is favorable at a run for the division and the playoffs! Imagine what that would do for our future and Sam as a QB with playoff experience! I may be getting ahead of myself but man I REALLY think that this game can set tha tempo! Let's get this win and GO RAMS!

Turf Show Times 2009 Draft Redo

2 Weeks away from the 2010 NFL draft and I had an idea of what if based on the performances of players drafted last season, who would not only the Rams select, but also the rest of the league? So I will give it a crack at re-doing the 2009 NFL Draft

1. Detroit Lions Select: Matthew Stafford, QB Georgia

Matthew-stafford-pictures-10_medium

I think that if the Lions had to do it all over again, I think that they would still select Matthew Stafford. Detroit's biggest mistake last year was selecting TE Brandon Pettigrew instead of Michael Oher. Not saying that Pettigrew is a bust or anything but just think that if you have 2 picks n the 1st round and you draft a QB 1st overall then at 20 you take best OT available. Detroit hopes that happens this time around

Original Pick: Matthew Stafford

2. St. Louis Rams Select: Michael Oher, OT Ole Miss

Michael_oher_medium

The Rams select Michael Oher and protect Marc Bulger's "Blind Side", All Pun Intended! The Rams Pass on Mark Sanchez again, however they get a guy who inspires the nation with his great story of and anchors the Offensive Line for years to come. Michael Oher held his own against Jared Allen and that's saying alot for a rookie. Jason Smith is in a position where if his head injury from last year takes him out again, then he can be in a bust category before we know it. (Hope that's not going to happen though for Smith)

Original Pick: Jason Smith

3. Kansas City Chiefs Select: Jason Smith

Jason-smith_medium

The Chiefs Need to keep Matt Cassell off of his butt and therefore select Jason Smith . Last year they reached for Tyson Jackson and in on passing on an OT Matt Cassell was one of the most sacked QBs in the league.

Original Pick: Tyson Jackson

4. Seattle Seahawks Select: Aaron Curry

I think Seattle is pretty happy with Aaron Curry on their roster and would not choose another player if they could do it over again

Original Pick: Aaron Curry

5. Cleveland Browns Select: Mark Sanchez

There's no way IMHO that the Browns make the trade with the Jets. I think the Browns look at the Jets' offer and make them sweat it out to the last seconds of the clock before denying their trade proposal and select Mark Sanchez.

Original Pick, Browns trade down with the Jets and the Jets select Mark Sanchez

6. Cincinnati Bengals Select: Eugene Monroe

Andre Smith holding out and then getting injured shortly after his return was just as ugly as him doing the Scouting Combine without a shirt.

Original Pick: Andre Smith

7. Oakland Raiders select: Percy Harvin

Percy-harvin-p1_medium

DHB??? Really Oakland??? You have Crabtree, Harvin, and Darius Heyward Bey available and you take the lesser of the 3? SO what if DHB had a great 40 at the combine! Percy Harvin IMO would have been a better fir in the "Speedy" type personnel that Al Davis loves. But I guess on the Raiders behalf, Harvin did have some off field issues, (Don't think it matters with the Raiders) and Crabtree had his injury going into the draft.

Original Pick: Darius Heyward Bey

8. Jacksonville Jaguars Select: Andre Smith

Smith-running_medium

I know it sounded like I was bashing Andre Smith earlier but I guess he's not all that bad. I guess he had some help in making Cedric Benson look like a pro bowler (Did Benson make Pro Bowl?). MJD takes advantage of Smith being on the line and helps Jax win a few more games.

Original Pick: Eugene Monroe

9. Green Bay Packers select: Phil Loadholt

Bottom line is that Aaron Rodgers needs better protection!

Original Pick: B.J Raji

10. San Francisco Select: Michael Crabtree

This time around the 49ers draft Crabs and pay him his money before camp opens.

Original pick: Michael Crabtree just didn't pay him until almost midway through the season

11. Buffalo Bills Select: Jeremy Maclin

T.O's is 1 and done with the Bills, and I think they take Maclin in a do over.

Original Pick: Aaron Maybin

12. Denver Broncos select: Knowshon Moreno

I think Denver loves Moreno being there again at 12

Original Pick: Moreno

13. Washington Redskins select: Clay Matthews

Original Pick: Brian Orakpo

14. New Orleans Saints select: James Laurinaitis

James_laurinaitis_medium

I think that the Defending super bowl champions would select Laurinaitis and move him outside to to form a sick LB tandem with Vilma and JL

15. Houston Texans select: Chris Wells (Original Pick:Brian Cushing)

Brian Cushing is a stud but the Texans really need a running game to help spread their offense. Chris Wells helps the Texans open things up for Shaub, Daniels, and AJ

Original Pick: Brian Cushing

16. San Diego Chargers select: Brian Cushing (Original Pick: Larry English)

17. New York Jets Select: Josh Freeman

The Jets settle for Josh Freeman after their attempt to move up fails

Original Pick: Traded up to 5th Pick to select Mark Sanchez)

18. Denver Broncos Select: Brian Orakpo (Robert Ayers)

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: B.J Raji (Original pick, The eagles selected Jeremy Maclin at 19)

20. Detroit Lions select: Eben Britton (Brandon Pettigrew)

21. Philadelphia Eagles select: Malcolm Jenkins (Browns Select Alex Mack)

22. Minnesota Vikings select: Hakeem Nicks (Percy Harvin)

23. Baltimore Ravens select: Rey Mauluaga (Micahel Oher)

24. Atlanta Falcons select: Aaron Maybin (Peria Jerry)

25. Miami Dolphins select: Vontae Davis (Same)

26. Green Bay Packers select: Evander Hood (Clay Matthews)

27. Indianapolis Colts select: Donald Brown (Same)

28. Philadelphia Eagles select: Darius Hayward Bey (Originally this pick was made by the Bills, selecting Eric Wood)

29. New York Giants select: Louis Delmas (Hakeem Nicks)

30. Tennesse Titans select: Brandon Pettigrew (Kenny Brit)

31. Arizona Cardinals select: Shonn Greene (Chris Wells)

32. Pittsburgh Steelers select: Jairus Byrd (Evander Hood)

There's my 2009 Draft first round do-over. What do you think? Or rather what would you change if we can re-do the draft from last year?

I KNOW SOMEONE MAY SAY IT'S IRRELEVANT  BUT IT'S JUST FOR FUN AND TO STIR UP A DISCUSSION

Blogging The Boys Mock Draft Help

What's up Cowboys fans? I'm participating in Turf Show Times Community Mock Draft and I have the privilege to make the cowboys selection. I would like your advice in what players you see the cowboys picking in the draft at the 27th pick. Any comments will help me decide which player to select for your beloved team. I know you guys are in need of a safety after the releasing of Ken Hamlin. I could see them picking Taylor Mays if he's still available. I also know that you guys released "False Start" Flozell, so maybe an OT that's not deaf in one ear?

Turf Show Times Spags on the Hot Seat?

Gyi0059199001_display_image_medium

Steve Spagnoulo is in his 2nd offseason as the Head Coach of the Rams after a 1-15 rookie season record.

A season that had him shuffling between Qbs because of injuries and bringing in practice squad guys from other teams to fills needs because of other injuries in other positions. Spags and company made some moves last year that had alot of rams fans wondering what they were doing. They released leading tackler for the past few seasons before Spags got hired Pisa Tinoisamoa(Spell Check?). They release Chris Draft a week or so before the beginning of pre season and in mid season trade away Starting OLB Will Witherspoon for a 5th round pick and an unknown receiver Brandon Gibson. With the Eagles releasing Will Witherspoon it's like we got Brandon Gibson for free along with the draft pick. Gibson showed some spark as a young WR that can have some success with other talent around him. As for the other moves they made last year we were all mind boggled by the release of our Line backers, regardless what kind of fate they had with another team that picked them up(i.e Pisa getting injured). But I believe those guys still would have helped us better than Paris Lenon!

Yes injuries plagued us this past season and we had alot of 3rd and 4th stringers having to play for us but how much of this is Spags fault? Another intriguing question going in to last season was we only had 3-4 WRs on our final roster. So of course if they get injured(Laurant Robinson) , who is going to step up? Spags and co. did bring in Danny Amendola who seemd to be a Wes Welker type reciever and return specialist.

We go 1-15 and now have the 1st pick in the draft. But what do the Rams do in Free Agency? Thus far we sign AJ Feely and Resign Craig Dahl. The FO tenders OJ Atogwe at the lowest possible tender witn no compensations!! So if a team offers OJ a contract we can't or won't match, he is gone and we get nothing!!! I know the rookie pool sucks and having to pay the #1 pick is gonna be $$$$ but do we just let our guys walk and not also try to get Playmakers? Having a new owner in transition may have some thing to do woth how tight we are pinching those pennies

If the Rams are hoping to become a better team through the draft then they better hope that EVERY selection they make have makes an impact and can be the playmakers we so DESPERATELY  need. I fear that if we win 3-4 games this season that Spags will be in the hot seat and we could be starting from scratch again with a new Head Coach. I hope that does not happen and that the guys can have a stellar draft and give us loyal fans some hope

Go Rams!

Turf Show Times Brandon Marshall to Seahawks?

According to Adam Shefter's Twitter account, the Seahawks are considering signing Brandon Marshall. If the Broncos do not match the offer the Seahawks submit to Marshall, they will recieve seattle's 6th overall pick in the 1st round. Brandon Marshall and TJ Housh would wreck havoc towards our Cbs and would probably make th the favorites in the NFC West. Seattle also has the #14 pick in the draft I believe it's 14. And all the Rams have as a counter punch is by signing a 33 year old back up in AJ Feely!!! Something gotta give if not we won't be competing again this year!

Turf Show Times Free agency

With free agency less than an hour away and the last time we'll probably ever have a salary capped season, who should the rams target? There are alot of guys who can help this team out, the question is do would they get any offers from the FO and would they even want to play for us! Anquan Bolden can easily be a ram for as low as a 3rd round pick! Somebody needs to call Devaney and company and get him on our team ASAP especially if they are thinking about drafting a QB with the 1st round pick!!! Can't wait to see what moves we make but I'm feeling realistic in thinking we won't get any big name free agents.... Hope I'm wrong Go Rams

Mocking The Draft Turf Show Times Mock Draft Challenge 1.0

What's up guys. This is my first post on the "Mocking The Draft" site. I'm a Rams fan and check TST daily. The blog organizers set up a mock challenge and I'd like your opinions. This is my first attempt to ever do a Mock Draft but feel free to slam it all you want

1.  Rams: Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma

    Sam-bradford-heisman_medium

As much as everyone wants the Rams to select Suh, I thinkSpags and company draft the QB of the future. The Rams passed on Matt Ryan and Mark Sanchez in the past 2 drafts and I think they will pull the trigger on Bradford.

    2.  Lions: Ndamukong Suh  DT Nebraska

    Ndamukong-suh-5f35706f615c269d_medium

The Lions were one of the worst teams in pass rush and get the best DL in the draft. Suh will need help though in Detriot before the Lions have a respectable defense.

    3.  Bucs:  Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma

    Ncf_g_mccoy1_sw_400_medium

The Bucs really would love it if Suh dropped in their laps, but they will settle for the 2nd best DL in the draft.

    4.  Redskins:  Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame

    080905_jimmyclausen_h

The Jason Cambell experiment in Washington is over

    5.  Chiefs: Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State

If the Chiefs expect Matt Cassell to last as their starting QB, they need to keep him off his back. Theirs no way I see them passing on an OT in the 1st round, and Okung will be the pick

    6.  Seahawks:  Eric Berry S Tennessee

Eric Berry lands in the lap of our most hated rival. Aaron Curry and Eric Berry make the Seafags really solid on the defensive side.

    7. Browns:  Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech

    8. Raiders: Rolando McClain LB Alabama

    9. Bills: Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State

T.O is not going to be playing in Buffalo this season so the Bills draft Bryant to give whoever is going to be under center a playmaker at WR

    10. Jaguars: Carlos Dunlap DE Florida

The Jags will settle on a different local star to help their pass rush

    11. Broncos: Joe Haden CB Florida

Haden and Champ = sick CB combo

    12. Dolphins: Sergio Kindle LB Texas

    13. 49ers: Taylor Mays S USC

    14. Seahawks: Trent Williams OT Oklahoma

    15. Giants: Everson Griffen DE USC

    16. Titans: Golden Tate WR Notre Dame

    17. 49ers: Brandon Spikes LB Florida

    18. SteelersAnthony Davis OT Rutgers

    19. Falcolns: C.J Spiller RB Clemson

    Cj_spiller_medium

Michael Turner and CJ Spiller make one of the most dangerous 2 headed monster at RB

Turf Show Times TST Mock Draft Challenge 1.1

    1.  Rams: Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma

    Sam-bradford-heisman_medium

As much as everyone wants the Rams to select Suh, I thinkSpags and company draft the QB of the future. The Rams passed on Matt Ryan and Mark Sanchez in the past 2 drafts and I think they will pull the trigger on Bradford.

    2.  Lions: Ndamukong Suh  DT Nebraska

    Ndamukong-suh-5f35706f615c269d_medium

The Lions were one of the worst teams in pass rush and get the best DL in the draft. Suh will need help though in Detriot before the Lions have a respectable defense.

    3.  Bucs:  Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma

    Ncf_g_mccoy1_sw_400_medium

The Bucs really would love it if Suh dropped in their laps, but they will settle for the 2nd best DL in the draft.

    4.  Redskins:  Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame

    080905_jimmyclausen_h

The Jason Cambell experiment in Washington is over

    5.  Chiefs: Russell Okung OT Oklahoma State

If the Chiefs expect Matt Cassell to last as their starting QB, they need to keep him off his back. Theirs no way I see them passing on an OT in the 1st round, and Okung will be the pick

    6.  Seahawks:  Eric Berry S Tennessee

Eric Berry lands in the lap of our most hated rival. Aaron Curry and Eric Berry make the Seafags really solid on the defensive side.

    7. Browns:  Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech

    8. Raiders: Rolando McClain LB Alabama

    9. Bills: Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State

T.O is not going to be playing in Buffalo this season so the Bills draft Bryant to give whoever is going to be under center a playmaker at WR

    10. Jaguars: Carlos Dunlap DE Florida

The Jags will settle on a different local star to help their pass rush

    11. Broncos: Joe Haden CB Florida

Haden and Champ = sick CB combo

    12. Dolphins: Sergio Kindle LB Texas

    13. 49ers: Taylor Mays S USC

    14. Seahawks: Trent Williams OT Oklahoma

    15. Giants: Everson Griffen DE USC

    16. Titans: Golden Tate WR Notre Dame

    17. 49ers: Brandon Spikes LB Florida

    18. Steelers: Anthony Davis OT Rutgers

    19. Falcolns: C.J Spiller RB Clemson

    Cj_spiller_medium

Michael Turner and CJ Spiller make one of the most dangerous 2 headed monster at RB

    20. Texans: Ed Thomas S Texas

    21. Bengals: Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma

    22. Patriots: Terrance Cody DT Alabama

Turf Show Times TST Mock Draft Challenge 1.0

This is my first time ever to attempt to do a mock draft. Feel free to slam me all you want though. I'm sure I'll get a ton of crap about Tebow being drafted in the 1st round. I just feel that him being on the Colts and being mentored by Peyton Manning gives him the best chance to be a very good QB in the NFL. That and the Colts don't really have that many needs and can take a shot at Tebow IMO

Turf Show Times Spags has clause to opt out if team is sold

Rams’ Spagnuolo has opt-out clause if team is sold

Do you think Spags would choose to opt out before his contract expires or take his exit out and abandon us? I really hope he stays on board and is also rewarded with a championship as head coach of the Rams. If he chooses to opt out we can be looking at a very rough decade of more losing seasons.

Turf Show Times Sign A.P and Holt?

Adrian Peterson(LB from the Giants) and Torry Holt have been recently cut from their teams. Do the Rams resign Holt if he's cheap? And would Spags give A.P a shot in STL? We all know that Torry was one of the most coveted WR in the blue and gold, so if his price tag was low and/or teams were hesitant to pay for him, would it make sense to bring him back?

As for Peterson, he does history with Spags in NY, but would his legal issues cause us to decline an offer? He is old-ish but he would be a decent mentor to JL and any other LBS we get...Except when he's with someone like Plaxico

Turf Show Times Warner to be inducted to the HOF as a Ram or Cardinal?

First of all I'd like to say thank you Kurt Warner for all you've done for the Rams, the game of football and the community. You and Marshall are the reasons I became a Rams fan. Fellow Rams fans, I went over to the Cardinals blog site and read how they felt about Warners decision to retire and a couple of commentators believe Warner will be inducted to the HOF as a Card.Pretty dumb I know but what do you think? Aside from that, now that Warner's retired, I believe the NFC West is wide open in 2010. With a great draft, offseason, Sjax's allegations dropped, Warners retirement, can this be the year we compete in the weakest division of the NFL or are the other teams still way further ahead of us? Go Rams

Turf Show Times Was Spags the right choice for Head Coach?

On the eve of the NFL championship games I had a thought that I wanted you fellow rams to give your opinions on. Did the Rams make the right choice in selecting Steve Spagnoulo over Rex Ryan? Both are rookie coaches and come from similar backgrounds yet Ryan has more success under his first year under the Helm then spags as he gets ready to lead the jets against the mighty colts and on the brink of contention to NY Jets first superbowl appearance in 41 years. Spags On the other hand is gearing up for the draft and is evaluating college players. So do you think if the rams had Ryan that we'd be more than a 1-15 team or contending for the superbowl? How much of the Jets success is Ryans coaching? Ryan had 2 free agent signings from his former defense join the jets( Bart Scott, Jim Leonard) and an aggressive draft trading up for rookie QB Mark Sanchez. With the team that Ryan would have inherited as coach of the Rams, do you think that Scott and Leonard would have followed Ryan to St Louis and would Ryan have still tried to trade up in the draft to select Mark Sanchez?

Turf Show Times What's it going to take to get two 1st round picks?

With the Seahags and fortywhiners both sitting with 2 picks in the 1st round, my question is what do you think it will take for the Rams to keep up with the rest of the division and get an additional pick in the 1st round? We will draft Suh #1 overall but if we can trade up back into the 1st round do you think it would be "safe" or "smart" to take a gamble on Sam Bradford? Input, opinions, comments?

Go Rams!!! 2010 we return to competition!!!!

Turf Show Times If Suh is gone, Draft Gerald McCoy

If both the Rams and Bucs finish with 1-15 records(which it looks like for us can be) then we all know that the Bucs will get the first pick in the draft. Even though in my opinion they beat a much better team then we beat. The Bucs are man crushing all over Suh as we are so if they are sitting with the first pick and they draft him then I really don't see why we don't draft Gerald McCoy. Ndamukung seems to be much more SUHperior then Gerald But drafting McCoy wouldn't be a bad pick either. I know we DESPERATELY need a QB but I just don't see us taking Bradford or Clausen with the #2 pick. If Bradford was not injured i'd be SUHper excited to get him but he's a risk for sure and Clausen may be good but not #2 worthy. which brings me to my next point, who else is desperately in need of a QB? The Raiders? I'd say heck yes. The Redskins? But then would they allow Campbell to go as a free agent? The Seafags? How much in the tank does Hassekbeck have left or do they draft a QB and sit him? The Browns? But what about Quinn? etc. etc. I say that to say this, I believe that Colt McCoy could fall to us in the 2nd round of the draft. Somebody will take a shot at Bradford and clausen in the 1st but I strongly believe that McCoy could be sitting there when we're on the clock in the 2nd round. Suh or G. McCoy in the 1st and C. McCoy in the 2nd would be nice additions to our team! Add a backup RB like a Noel Devine to take some treads off of SJAX's Tires and we could be in contention next year! Go Rams
