Mile High Report RG2247's Mock Draft 3.0 ( Mid FA period)

Lots of wheelin & dealin going on. Thought I would try a mock in the middle of it.

1st we'll go with trades :

1. BMarsh to the Seahawks for #14 & 4th rounder ( approx. # 106 )

2. T. Sheffler to the Browns for a 5th ( approx. # 138 ).  We get no initial offers, but Cleveland has 3 5th rounders, & we agree to their 1st one ( through Detroit ).

3. P. Hillis to the Texans for a 6th ( approx. # 192 ).

Now for other FA signings.

1. Rex Hadnot  G/C

2. David Carr    QB

3. Dwan Edwards  DE

4. Kyle Orton

5. Kris Kuper

6. Elvis Dumervil

7. Matt Prater

Now for the Draft :

1st. #11 -  Dan Williams,  NT   Tennessee

1st. #14 - Trent Williams  G/T   Oklahoma

2nd. #45 - Dem. Thomas  WR  Georgia Tech

3rd. #80 - Alex Carrington  DE   Arkansas St.

4th. #106 - Tony Moeaki   TE   Iowa

4th. #116 - Ben Tate  RB   Auburn

5th. #138 - Donald Butler  MLB   Washington

6th. #188 - Freddie Barnes  WR   Bowling Green

6th. #192 - Walter Thurmond  CB  Oregon

7th. #223 - Mike Tepper   G/T   California

Signed undrafted college FA's :

Eric Cook   OC  New Mexico

Thomas Austin  G/C  Clemson

Doug Worthington  DE  Ohio St.

Carl Ihenacho  OLB  SanJose St

Matt Dodge  P  East Carolina

Deji Karim  RB  Southern Illinois

Tim Hiller QB   West. Michigan

Bryan Anderson  WR  Central Michigan

Naaman Roosevelt  WR  Buffalo

Just another of the million possibilities. I think this covers most of our needs, & gives us some very good talent to mold into Superbowl winning Broncos. What do you think ???

Mile High Report RG2247's "Extreme fantasy " Mock Draft

first we'll go with FA signings :

David Carr,  QB,  from Giants

Ben Hartsock,  TE, from Jets  ( Good Blocker )

Dwan Edwards,  DE/DT from Ravens

Travis Kirshke, DE/DT from Steelers ( Old, but still effective. A 1 year stop gap till our rookies develop )

Dumervil

Kuper

Orton

Prater.

Now for the " Extreme ". Trades :

1. We trade BMarsh & our 2nd #45, to the Rams for their 1st #1, & their 2nd #33

2. We trade 1st #1 from rams to Buccaneers, for their 1st #3, 2nd #35, & their 2011 2nd rounder. They want Suh.

3. we trade 1st #3 from Bucs to Bills, for their 1st #9, 3rd #72, 6th #168, & Lee Evans. They want 1st QB taken.

4. We trade 1st #9 from Bills & Scheffler, to Bengals for their 1st #21, 2nd #54, 5th #148, & 2011 3rd rounder. They want Dez Bryant, & get their TE to boot.

5.  We trade Stokely to Balt. for their 5th # 152

6. We trade Hillis to Houston, for their 6th # 177

7. We trade our 6th # 168 & 6th # 177, to Detroit for their 5th # 129

Most of this will take place on draft day, or just before. Some real wheeling & dealing. LOL

Now for the Draft :

Round 1- #11    Rolando McClain, MLB, Alabama

Round 1- #21    Mike Iupati,  OG,  Idaho

Round 2- #33    Maurkice Pouncey,  OC,  Florida

Round 2- #35    Kyle Wilson,  CB,  Boise St.

Round 2- #54    Cam Thomas,  NT,  North Carolina

Round3- #72    Alex Carrington,  DE,  Arkansas St.

Round 3- #80    Roger Saffold,  OG/OT,  Indiana

Round 4- #111    Jacoby Ford,  WR,  Clemson

Round 5- #129    Riley Cooper,  WR,  Florida                       Are you tired yet ????

Round 5- #148    Camerron Sheffield,  OLB,  Troy

Round 5- #152    Corey Peters,  DE,  Kentucky

Round 6- #173    Lonyae Miller,  RB,   Fresno St.

Round 7- #204    Pat. Stoudamire,  CB,  West. Illinois

OK. Now we have half the players in the draft, + an extra 2nd, & 3rd, for next years draft. Just like Papa Belichek would do. LOL. This was fun to play with, & would be my extreme fantasy.

In reality, I think BMarsh is staying in Denver, which would wipe out most of these picks, but in fantasy, this would top the Cutler trade by leaps & bounds.
