With any of the top 3 picks the Blazers would take Nerlens Noel if he were available to them.
Commented on Ford: Who Would Blazers Select If They Jump Up In 2013 NBA Draft Lottery Order? on May 21 2013, 12:47a
As the draft currently sits, its hard to envision any scenario which nets us Oladipo.

Oladipo is a way better perimeter defender than Wesley.

I like Oladipo, but predicting that he is the next Dwayne Wade may be a bit optimistic.

I really like Oladipo. I think that he is the best SG in the draft.

The 3rd leg helps prop him up.

If we won the #1 pick, I would bet that we pick Nerlens Noel... and that he would probably never play for the Blazers d/t his having a microfracture surgery each of his first 4 years in the league.

Jamaal Franklin I think is going to be awesome. He would be a great fit on the Blazers.

I don't usually agree with Clownzano, but I have to agree with him on this.

Snake soup is pretty good. Kind of like slightly stringy chicken but great with the right sauce. And I'll bet Patrick makes some boots out of the snake.

Hm.. Patrick doesn't seem like he is a very good shot if he has to get up that close to the snake to hit it with a pellet rifle.

We will have a bunch of young players on the team regardless of what we do in Free agency.

And look what that go us. If we win again, then this time we get Nerlens Noel, a guy with even worse knees than Oden had when we drafted him.
Commented on Quick: Damian Lillard Will Represent Blazers At 2013 NBA Draft Lottery on May 10 2013, 4:00p - 2 replies
I would have to agree at this point that it is more likely the Blazers obtain a good FA back court player than a good FA center this summer.
Commented on Blazer's Edge Mailbag: Barton, Cousins, Trading LaMarcus, and More! on May 10 2013, 3:55p
Not all that excited about any of the potential options mentioned, and the draft centers all will be long term projects.
Commented on Blazer's Edge Mailbag: Lillard vs. Roy, Centers, Sacramento and Seattle on May 6 2013, 5:49p
I did watch the '77 and "92 era teams, and all the other Blazer's teams as well, and there just weren't that many other players with Damian's maturity and attitude.

Barton is going to be good. All he needs is the threat of a jumper and pretty soon guys are defending his J, which opens up the lane for his drives to the hoop.

I cringe when I see Matthews going to the rim, because I know that he is going to get blocked almost every time.
Commented on Taking Stock: Wesley Matthews and the Question of Talent on Apr 29 2013, 3:13a - 2 replies
Of the "core 4" I believe that Matthews is the most expendable and most likely to be traded.

Olynick would be a bad idea, and a bad fit.

People need to relax a bit, Batum is still only like 24 year old! He won't even be in his prime for another 2-3 years yet.
Commented on Taking Stock: Will Nicolas Batum Ever Be a Star? on Apr 26 2013, 3:21p
I think that Lillard is getting a bum rap about his D. He looked a lot better by the end of the season.

After watching Shabazz play, I was not all that impressed. Everything you have mentioned is clearly the case with Shabazz right now.

I wouldn't touch Shabazz at all. He may put up a lot of points, but at what cost?

I think it is highly doubtful that the team will take a huge leap forward this summer, they just don't have the assets to make a big move.
