So, i dont want a repeat of last years Brandon Roys injury hampering us from a legit shot at the 2nd round.  We were tough, and really good before brandon went down last year right before the playoffs.  I think that is fairly avoidable this year.  Short of playing the lakers or mabey denver i could care less who we play in the playoffs if we are healthy.  What do you guys and gals think? Should we shut it down for our starters tommorrow if we win or houston loses?

That sucked. I am so bummed.  Time to get a life now i guess.  For those of you who are going to say that the first round is all anyone expected us to go, then why didnt we play more of our rookies like batum and sergio or bayless and give our future starters some playoff experience.  No i think alot of us expected to go further, and if we thought we could have gone further mabey we should have stregnthed up our team at the trade deadline or mabey we have now seen the holes we need to fill in fa or the next draft.  Anyway the time to talk change is here! Whom should we replace in the coming offseason.   its not so important what happens so much in our  society as it is to properly place the blame on an someone and avoid responsibility. 

Its been a wonderfull year.  You have inspired me to greater heights and ever pushed my excitement and enthusiasm with you spectatular dunks.  You have beat up many opposing mascots and pulled alot of really funny practical jokes, for which i really thank you.  Im sure you amazing dunking abilities have rubbed off on our players such as lamarcus, greg, even brandon nic and travis.  At times even i have gone out in the backyard and lowered the hoop.

did anyone seriously think arod never used steriods? i have said it before and will again what other sport besides mabey football do players get drafted and the expectation is that they wont be effective or play to their potential untill they bulk up. steriods in the nba is the biggest scandle yet to come, mark my words.  remember how stupid we used to be with mark mcguire gasping at his brute stregnth and size. doesnt it seem familiarly like the attention and homage we pay to players like.. dwight h? it is seems too good to be true.... it probably is and common sense is you look at everyother sport and there are similiar problems with drugs, why wouldnt it be in the nba.  sure every now and then u get a greg oden or a shaq who needs to bulk down but 95% of the time its the other way around.  is any other sport and hushed and controlled as the nba.  i think the nba is alittle more tight with its coverups, just look at the ref scandles and how they blew that one over. mabey alot of the injuries can be attributed to performance enhancing drugs or it seems when players come off such drugs.  closer to home, mabey the problem with the blazers are they are not taking enough steriods. can you imagine lamarcus on the juice, or better broy, travis or nic.  oden doesnt need any but he could use some amphetimines. 

i want to thank the staff at the rose garden tonite (sec 310) for their professional handing of unruly, drunk, obnoxious loud cleveland fans and making it a more enjoyable experience.  a couple of guys sporting #23's  were sitting in my section trashing oden lma and half the team.  i have a problem with that in the rose garden myself. they were pretty loud and looking for trouble.  i was hoping blaze would come over and shoot them with silly string or something.  we need a blazermaniac section where in such cases, you can call a number and swap tickets and surround them with our most obnoxious loud fans, i almost swapped seats with the guys next to me so i could stand up and cheer defense everytime lebron got the ball and obstruct their view.  as it was those bfans were offended and just left.  if our guys could of taken care of business on the court it probably wouldnt have been as big of a issue but it was tonite. by halftime and several beers later they progressed to dropping f-bombs and swearing.  thats where i got "offended".  there were several children nearby and i have read my season ticket handbook.  anyway the usher took care of business professionally and expediently.  the guy picked up his 2nd warning faster than GO picks up fouls and was told one more time and security would throw him out and to his credit he chilled out alittle after that.  GO BLAZERS!

mabey its me, but when nick gets a hand up in the other guys face as he is taking a shot they almost always miss.  it is some nice d.  i dont know if he is blocking the guys sight , tipping the ball ( he gets alot of blocks).  its Nice.  ok tonite it is official sebastion telfair is better than sergio and steve blake.  i would like to see more minutes for sergio like 15 at least but it sucks giving in to a crybaby with a bad attitude.  i cant wait for martell to get back. right now we have noone taking it to the hoop and im low on my dunk count. im confident nick and martell can fix that problem. id like to see nick take a few runs on the rim. 

Everything was ok untill nate decided to leave nick out for the entire 2nd half.  noone else but pryz was getting any rebounds. i dont want to hear about 4th quarter experience, travis played ok but mabey he doesnt have any 4th quarter defense experience.  yeah the rudy roy combo didnt work so well. i think you need to surround rudy with fast weapons and though aldridge looked good tonite. i cant wait to see him back with martell and or nick. could have used alittle more sergio tonite too. what do u think?

The real issue here is not so much what happened last nite as Who Is To Blame for that embarassing performance.  who not what, id like to put a face on this.  i think once we determine where the true problem originated we can possibly correct them in the future.  Did kp make the wrong move drafting GO? Should he have given more consideration to all his previous injuries and skeptical advice from scouts and med ppl who had these concerns. Was greg ever able to shoot the ball in his career? what about nate? other than one good season in seattle ...the sonics were losers. did he do enough to prepare the players before the game.  what about changing the starting roster before the game? Did we even have  a starting lineup before the game?  winners win. obviously roy and aldridge didnt have their best game but is it thier fault or ours for having such high expectations of them.  They say the lakers are soft but come on, we are (softer) still.  is la to soft, is brandon too slow, do both lack the killer instinct? i mean when you constantly refer to your guys as allstar calliber when there are 6+ other guys around that play your position who are better than you... . I want to know? the only thing i know is it wasnt rudy.

I have always said that in this crazy town it only takes about 3 homeless guys at pioneer square to get on the news.  i would chip in beer money if anyone wants to rustle up some homeless guys to start a protest (mabey ongoing) against comcast.  what kills me is with seattle gone you would think they would want to pick up market share.  it used to be sonics only (and nascar and poker) everywhere in hotel tv packages all over the nw, be it hermiston, euguene, centralia, seattle ...nothings filled the void. mabey ill have to start watching cooking and religion.  i believe the hotel packages are comcast.  this screws everybody. it is limiting the # of jersey sales, restricted advertising, killing nw fans like myself.  fyi i do have comcast but a protest could be fun. anyone down?
