Since there's no better way to pass the time than to stare at the ground for 20 minutes, I went down to Willie Mays Plaza to locate the McC World Series brick. Here it is in all its glory. To find it, look in front of the last palm tree as you go up King Street toward the Embarcadero.

At SF State commencement today, Willie Mays received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree for his work in the community and his Say Hey Foundation. More about that here.
The best part was that he wore his Giants cap as he marched in, as did many of the people on stage when he spoke.

Seems odd to see as many boats gathered outside the Stick as there usually are around McCovey Cove.
