First up, a set of Blazers Nesting Dolls. They need to replace the Juan Dixon one though!

And then we have my former #11 favorite in plush form, the Arvydas Sabonis Blazers Buddy- never been opened! So tempting...

I would much rather have a Blazers Buddy plush then the bobbleheads. It would be great to have a Sergio Buddy to cling on to during the bad, ugly games instead of a bobblehead nodding away absently. That would get pretty annoying...

Me: "Nooo! Why did you take that contested jumper, darling?! Why?!"

Bobblehead_Sergio: *nod, nod, nod*

Just saw a new promotion going on for the Kings game this Saturday. It seems that they will be giving away a poster that has all three rookies in their cartoon hero forms.

Official Blazers website says "limited edition"- so I'm assuming first 2000 fans, like with the bobbleheads. I'm going to see if I can get any interest with my friends to be able to go! I would rather have a poster of the *real!* Sergio or a bobblehead Sergio- but, a fangirl will take what she can get!

I will be going to the game tonight! =) I lucked out due to a friend of a friend having a spare ticket. I'll be in section 202, row H. Though, I'm sure it'll be easy to spot me:

So, I had it all planned in my head. How I was going to make the sign, paint #11 on my cheek, the whole shebang.

Then a bomb got dropped on me by my friend.

Our free tickets deal had expired. My friend misread the promo rules and thought we had until 4 pm game day to pick up the tickets when we really only had until 1/25/07. Opps.

Sadness fills my heart! While I could buy nosebleed tickets, it's just not the same as the level 200's. Plus, the camera wouldn't be able to pick up my sign from that high!

So it seems that my proposal to Espresso will have to wait. The sparkles fade away... I won't be seen in March after all.

I blame this on bad juju from other Sergio admirers!!

Noooooo! Nooooooooooo! If they trade any of our rookies, I'm going to get very angry. I want to just write this off as random gossip or envision that Steve Patterson would just laugh and laugh in to the phone and then hang up at the offer.

Since the Wolves just fired their coach, the feeling is that they will be even more keen to win to prove themselves as a team. I was reading a blog entry from the official Blazers site and I wanted to share this quote. Quote taken from Mike Barret's blog found here.

"Speaking of throwing a ball, I couldn't help but recall an incident before the Blazers played the Timberwolves back on November 14th at the Target Center. The Blazers took the floor for warmups, and wanted the basket Minnesota was already warming up at. The visiting team has the choice. Garnett, upon seeing the Blazers coming on to his end, slammed Martell Webster with a shoulder, and tried to go chest-to-chest. Martell, a little shocked, and a lot intimidated, tried to smile and walk away. Garnett then picked up a ball and whipped it at Webster. It just missed Martell's head, which was turned the other way. Webster turned around to look, and was challenged again by Garnett. Almost no one noticed this, except me and my partner Mike Rice, who were just feet from the incident.
