I've been a reader of Viva El Birdos for quite some time and thouroughly enjoyed it.

However I don't think that I have enjoyed it as much as I could have due to my embarassingly poor knowledge of some of the numbers and statistics used in our discussions.

Over at Beyound the Boxscore Sky Kaulkman just started an ongoing introduction to sabermetrics. 

While this is exactly the kind of thing that I think will help me become a better fan I wanted to find a site or guide that I could take at my own pace. In the past I've found wikipedia to be very helpful but a little overwhelming.

I was wondering if anyone had a link to a site that might help those like me who are not as knowledgable as they would like to be better understand the world of sabermetrics.
