It's akward how easy it is for me to hate you, John Lackey

An open letter to John Lackey:

I want you to know that I wasn’t ever a real fan of yours. There was something about you that made you hard to like. Maybe it was the post-ALDS swipe at the team, or your sophomoric ‘tude on the mound, or your willingness to so easily throw teammates under the bus. Whatever combination you choose is up to you, just know that you are dead to me. Farewell, Johnny, it was almost as if we didn’t know ya.

Holidays Wishes,

Rjcicc

PS:  All of your peripherals are trending the wrong way and my guess is that you’ll gain more weight, get hurt and be subsequently loathed by people who really care about baseball in Boston. Good luck.

Batting Stance Guy

I'm sure a lot of you have already seen this, but I thought I would share it anyway.

This dude does impersonations of batters in their hitting stance. Wait for his Troy Glaus, its flawless. He also did a walk off world series edition, his '93 Joe Carter is pretty sweet.

Batting Stance Guy

They should lower the count to fifty.Seventy five is just way to many.

"K-Rod Not Worth $15 Mil"-Unnamed Baseball Sources

An informal survey of a handful of baseball men have concluded that signing K-Rod to a $15mm per deal is a bad idea. The reason being that he doesn't throw as hard as he used and Booby T. sucked after he broke the record. It's only natural that K-Rod suffers a similar fate.

A side of Sosa Anyone?

Yeah, so I know that there's no room for him anywhere, I just think it would be cool to watch Sammy swing for the San Gabriel's this summer. Any other takers? It's not like he has any baggage...

One day we will overcome the tyranny of the 300 min character requirment. It's until this freedom is equally dissiminated amongst all Men, women, and even Red Sox's fan, that we shall be held under the hypothetical hand of our blogging hosts oppression.

Kobe Bryant is really good at basketball

The Ducks went to the Stanly Cup Finals the year the Angels won the WS, a repeat would be nice. Hmm what else...Oh the new Wilco Album is pretty smooth, I've met ONE other Angels fan here in San  Francisco, please send reinforcements. A cute one, with dark hair.

This charactor stuff is bullshit. It's not going to keep idiots like me from posting retarded diaries.

For better or for worse.

I had a thought. Then I remebered what my mother had said when I was a just a young boy. The year, 2002, the place, my kitchen, her words: "That which is both rare and special, should be shared." I was looking at out roster, and for all it's detractions and omissions, there is no denying that Mr. Stoneman has built a club around what he believes is a winning formula. He has almost a full roster of his guys, brought up through his system, playing his style of baseball. For better or worse, our roster will look pretty simialr over the next couple of years, with a firm nucleus of pitching and young hitters has taking shape. I don't want to call it an epiphony, but I realized we looked a lot better than I had previously thought.  Stoneman's stubborness is also something that we may come to appreciate as our young core developes, and money is free to buy spare parts. He's a manager of resources, both of talent and cash (thanks to Arte)  He's put together, what I think is the best 40-man roster in all of basbeall. Maybe I was wrong about him, there are after all, only so many factors within his control. Blaming him for all the errors, Barts burrito habit, and global warming (which wihtout a doubt exists) was just a long time fans knee-jerk reaction to life as a major market team. A life in which anything but a you-know-what calls for heads to roll. A life led by a major metropolis with lucifor as its owner, and one just to the south, who believes in wichcraft and curses. Fear not my friends, I wil not forget about the Von Hayes, and Shawn Boski's of our past. I will remember '95 and and the Ivanhoe. Remember the Ivanhoe!

PLease ommit all spelling/grammitcal errors. Thank you.

Black to Pads

Seems as though Bud Black will be staying home and coaching the Padres. I thoguht he would have been a good fit in Oak/Freemont, although the same can be said about Wash.... Either BIlly is taking an extremely thourough approach to the process or he's waiting to hire the last candidate standing. 300 charactors, three hundred cha-ract-ors!

Insanity

Steve Physioc is up for the Robert Frick award. My brain hurts just thinking about the level of retardiculousness that such a thing implies.

It makes about as much sense nominating Clay Akin for a BET award.

Carlos Lee to Texas

It appears Texas is going to and bash their way into the playoffs. ESPN is reporting a miulti-player deal in which Texas sends  Fransisco Cordero, Kevin Mench and Lance NIx in return for Lee.
Does the Angels stratagy change now that teams within our own devision are making moves?
