While trying to get my mind off of the multiple disasters that have befallen us this season, I often turned the channel to find another form of entertainment - but it only made me wonder how Hollywood might portray the story of the 2010 Longhorns.

One of my favorite moments in the game came (I believe) in the first quarter - about the only time that USC actually broke through our offensive line and got to Vince.  I'm sketchy on the details, but I swear, the USC defender lunged at Vince, wrapped him up with both arms, and just hung there like he was hugging a tree, while a totally unaffected Vince stood there for a moment, then completed a pass.  Did anyone else see this, or was it the beer?

On the sixth day of Christmas, the Longhorns gave to me, six interceptions, FIVE HUNDRED YARDS, four goal-line stands, three blocked punts, two defensive scores, and a victory over S.C.

On the seventh day of Christmas, the Longhorns gave to me, seven Rose Bowl records, six interceptions, FIVE HUNDRED YARDS, four goal-line stands, three blocked punts, two defensive scores, and a victory over S.C.

On the eighth day of Christmas, the Longhorns gave to me, eight rushing touchdowns, seven Rose Bowl records, six interceptions, FIVE HUNDRED YARDS, four goal-line stands, three blocked punts, two defensive scores, and a victory over S.C.

On the tenth day of Christmas, the Longhorns gave to me, ten leaping catches, nine yards per carry, eight rushing touchdowns, seven Rose Bowl records, six interceptions, FIVE HUNDRED YARDS, four goal-line stands, three blocked punts, two defensive scores, and a victory over S.C.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, the Longhorns gave to me, eleven Leinart sackings, ten leaping catches, nine yards per carry, eight rushing touchdowns, seven Rose Bowl records, six interceptions, FIVE HUNDRED YARDS, four goal-line stands, three blocked punts, two defensive scores, and a victory over S.C.
