Just saw on Roto World That Josh Outman Will be on 60 Day DL and may need Tommy John surgery. That Sucks he has been one of our top two pitchers this season and if he needs Tommy John surgery that could seriously derail our young pitcher(knock on wood). I know this dosent really constitute a fanpost but people really dont check fanshots often.Thoughts?

1a)Tyson Jackson DE34 LSU- I keep hearing that BJ Raji will drop this far but i cant see him getting to 12. With TJack they hopefully have a strong end who can occupy a couple blockers.

1b) Everette Brown Rush OLB FSU- Hopefully he falls this far and we get another competitor for the rush OLB position.

2)Patrick Chung SS Oregon- Another safety for insurance and to be grommed with Barret for the future best safety combo in the league under Dawkins.

3a)Kevin Barnes CB Maryland- Take BPA at position not already adressed and boom we have Kevin Barnes who could be a pretty good #2 cb in this league.

3b)Rashard Jennings RB Liberty- With the broncos  reaching into malls last year I realized never enough depth can be had at a position with a lot of injuries.

4)TJ Lang OG East Michigan- Our line is awesome but aside from one guy we dont have very good depth.

5)Terrence Taylor NT Michigan- After looking over my Mock mi realized "WOW IM STUPID AND FORGOT NT!!!!!!" I Dont want to spend a high pick on NT beacuse next year class looks much better.

6)Cecil Newton C Tennese State- Weigmans old.

7a)Everette Pedescleaux DE34 North Iowa-Why not its a crap shoot now + he has a sick looking name that i cant pronounce.

7b) Nathan Brown QB Central Arkansas-Again crap shoot we need a 3rd QB and with Orton and SPLEEN( I will not call Him Neckbeard until he grows it back)

We all talk about how these NFL "Experts" don't really know what they are talking about and how they all have lost their credibility. I was wondering if there are ANY besisdes Adam Schefter, whom I assume most of us trust and respect even though he is going to ESPN. So i made a poll of some of the most notable experts to see who we here at Mile High Report trust the most.

I just got home from the A's open workout or fanfest. It started off well. When you walk through the gates they assign you an autograph section. I was section one. Santiago Casilla was the first person assigned there. I was disappointed not to bash Casilla who was extremely nice and is a great player but I didn't want a middle relievers autograph although I am happy with it. But I was the last person to have something signed by Santiago before Buck took over. Buck is one of the A's i really wanted to meet but oh well.

Then I was able to check out the press boxes. Wow they are plain and boring. Only "The Bill King Room" had anything on the wall. Just plain white depressing walls. After that it was time for Batting Practice. DAAAMMMMNNNN did Giambi kill the ball. I was able to bare hand catch a homer from him in right field. Unfortunatley a few hacks later a line drive over the wall hit a young boy in the face. He looked to be about 3-4 years old. I t hit him under his eye and you could actually see the stitching from the ball engraved on his face. But the man who caught the ball gave it to the boy and I saw him after BP and thankfully he seemed alright.

Cutler is a bear. Now im done talking about him. First of all i think Simms will be able to do fine in our offense. He has got the best pass-blocking O-line in the game, second best recieving corps(Arizonia is the best by far) and the best passing minded HC in the game with McD.

Okay now Im thinking that with #12 in the first we should select Knowshon Moreno RB from Georgia. He will give our offense a stabalizing force. And is also a great pass catcher. With the 18th overall I hope we will be able to select Tyson Jackson a 290+- DE from LSU(i think). He will be the first step to really improving our Defensive line. If he is not availble i say we get either REY or CUSH. With our second i say say we get either Ron Brace or Fili Maola who will be our future NTs. Leaning more towards Fili because of what Styg said of Brace and that Maola has experience as a NT and no charcter problem or lack of enthuiasm.

I havent really looked much into the 3rd round or later so thats all i got. Lets "Bronco up" and focus on the draft.

I have heard quite a bit about how Denver will win 3-6 games next year. How??? Our offense in still in place and will improve with age and a new coaching regime. I hear because we cut 5 starters from defense we will be disaterous. We were terrible on D and those 5 people were straight up BAD(except EE, he was quite servicable). But Nate Webster, Manuel, Mcree, Engleburger and Bly were nothing to write home about. Our defense couldnt get much worse And with Nolan and all the new position coaches i believe(pending solid FA and draft aquisations) our D will be in the low 20's or high teens in most areas. So i give hope that it cannot be much worse than 2008. We will win 8-10 games next year with solid growth on both sides of the ball from our young stars.

Its probally just me but after a week of "whose going to be the next Head coach" and all the evaluations of the possible canidates i get a little bored of it.(NO offense but all the post had blended in to one for me). So i decided to ask Mile HIgh Report what movie or scene from a movie is your favorite.

My favorite movie is Talledega Nights:the ballad of Ricky Bobby. And my favorite movie scene is the fight scene from anchorman. "Whered you get a grenade from??" "I dont know" Priceless

I was just browsing through the power rankings and stumbled upon this about why we will make the playoffs.

YES THAT IS IT!! THAT IS WHY WE MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!! we back into them because we are in the second worst division in football. Not because we are 3 and 1 against the best division in football(NFC South) Those three victories were flukes. And also the ass beating we gave the Jets after they were thought INVINCIBLE. ooo wait we only won that because off a bad call on a fluke oplay 10 weeks before. Im going to get some Coors and vent. 

The Raiders have alot to prove. The Broncos are classifying this as an easy win, just like the kansas city game and also the jacksonville game. Except for the monday night game everygame we had an "easy" win we have lost..KC JAX and even Miami. we have a hard time winning games we should win and i think that some of the players are overlooking this game and focusing on the Jets and Favre.(i have made a post like this last two weeks and we have won so why stop?)

We will lose at Atlanta. With our hurt defense we could barely pull off a W against CLEVELAND. Michael Turner will go for 150 yards plus and straight out dominate with Matt Ryan going around @50 yard with 3 Touchdowns(two to Roddy). Our only hope would be a shootout but with no Runningbacks i think it will be hard to put up a balanced attack. Hillis will have 12 carries for 33 yards and Cutler will at least throw 2 picks and Marshall will fumble the ball going for extra yards.

I am stuck living in the bay area and very rarely get to watch games except for the chargers, raiders and MNF/SNF games. But my brother just ordered direct TV and they gave him the sunday ticket thing. So i convinced him to give me his password and login name so i can go on the computer and finally watch all the games. And now i am nine words short.GO BRONCOS!!!!CABBAGE SOUP

this is a short question so im gonna have to stretch it out. which is what we have been doing offensively alot with shot gun formations and such. But my question how do i change my user name because i do not like it any more. hmm 46 words down. so hows everyone doing? i really really really like our offense this year our defense not so much. 7 more. i mean we have talented corners linebacker and i like doom and engelberger on the line but our DT's arent so good.
