Since we have NOTHING new to discuss on the CGDS or Ferris front, I thought I would try and gauge the interest in who Stan should throw his money at.  Chicago is still screwed capwise and Philadelphia has decided to join in on the fun!

What would be probably be involved, players/picks/prospects-wise?

Gagne has one year left at a manageable cap hit, it would certainly get us above the cap floor, but he has suffered lengthy injuries in the very recent past.  Isn't that a requirement for any potential Avs acquisition?

Meanwhile, Sharp has a better contract for an additional year and will soon have a shiny new ring to show his potential new teammates.

Still new here but I have a great time reading some of the comments during an otherwise slow work day.  Have at it...

Chicago is likely still in a world of hurt with the salary cap next year even IF it does go up by as much as $2M.

On the other hand, Rockford could be really good with a $7M+ defenseman and a $5M+ goalie.  If someone listed in the poll is not on your fantasy list, please put it in the comments.  Thanks!
