The Dirt From The Den: 2011 Edition
Bumped. - BN Eds.

Hey guys, we at the Den wanted to introduce ourselves, as the Den is now run by a new staff from last year. My roommates and I are now sort of in the leadership position and we wanted to let you guys know, if you have any suggestions that we could possibly do to help student involvement we are all ears.
Also, this year I plan on posting all the Dirt from the Den here, so any links to fun things about other teams would be highly appreciated. Of course you will get credit for it, and I think it would add another level of fun to game-day for everyone.
My personal contact info is after the jump, and if you would like to contact me about anything feel free.
Thanks!

Bruins in the Say No League Stats [7/14 updated]
After reading DCBruin's take on our Wing's next year, I decided to look further into the Say No League and I compiled as many stats for our Bruins as I could. I want to point out that in every game the team rebounds are very high, indicating that score keeping is pretty loose, so take that with a grain of salt. With that disclaimer said, I put together a table from the first 3 weeks of summer ball and I plan on updating it weekly.
Here goes nothing:

ATV's first start in Tennessee
I was not able to catch the game, however I looked at the box score and it indicated ATV had 11 tackles. Does this mean he had a great game, or does it indicate that he was targeted all game and was just tackling after the catch? Did anyone see the game? Regardless, it is a very positive note to see that he is already a starter in the NFL after only a few games. Any news on TA?
UCLA product wins Minor League Baseball Player of the Year
With a brand new year comes lots of excitement regarding Bruin Sports. As a San Diego Native, I have and will always be a Padres fan, despite all of the losing records and what not. Today, on the padres home page I saw a something that lit my day up. Padres prospect, Cody Decker, a 2008 graduate of UCLA recently was named MiLBY or the 2009 Short-Season Hitter of the Year. It is always great to see Bruins in the professional level succeeding, and no less on my awful Padres squad. Hope you guys all had a great start to the new year, as I know I certainly have.
