I have been an A's fan since I was a child. I can remember watching the A's WS's in the 70's with my dad and I yelling and screaming at the tv... Good Times!!! Lets Go Oakland!!!!

Season Tickets
Hi All,
I am looking for fellow A's fans to share a portion of The 2009 season... I have 2 seats available at the end of the A's dugout. They are in 123 row 11 seat 11-12... The season ticket price is $40 a ticket...
I will gladly sell various portions of the season,
IE: 10 game blocks up to a half season or more...we can definitely work out a generous schedule...
Unfortunately I am unable to purchase the full season by myself this year and am looking to see if anyone would like to join in some great seats... There are 82 games to choose from! I know I am starting early but if there are not enough takers I will need to give my seats up, which is a very sad thought.... :o(
Oh well, thanks and hope to hear from you! Let's Go Oakland!!

What a fun night!!
This adventure started at about 4pm, with a phone call from my sort of sister-in-law asking if I would be interested in seeing and hanging with Swish tonight.
He was going to be at the Pepsi plant hanging out, touring the facilities and signing autographs for the workers and their families, which her father just mentioned to her about 5 minutes before... Crazy!!!! (memo to self, tell members of Pepsi management to keep us informed of player visits)
I was so incredibly excited I couldn't stand it... of course I said YES! then I thought, hmmm maybe I should check with my husband first... he fully supports my baseball obsession, so we were good to go...
Needless to say we couldn't get there fast enough ...
A's vs Giants Photos....late but better than never
Spring Training recap and Pictures....Baseball is Back!! Good Times!!!
It has taken me a while to figure out what to post about our ST trip so here goes....Sorry everyone with a slow download... but there are some pictures attached to all of my rambling....
Battle wounds..
I have become a casualty of a good time...
Yesterday evening at the A's Game, and what a wonderful game it was, I happened to be at the tail end of a line drive foul ball... here is the story... Dan Johnson was up to bat in the 3rd inning and cracked a line drive foul up into the rows just above the A's dugout. I had just finished telling the kids I was with, that they really needed to pay attention to the game down here because where we were sitting is definitely foul ball territory. As I saw the swing, heard the crack of the bat, and immediately saw a whitish object hurling toward me, all I could think of was, OH S..T! it is going to hit one of the kids so I did the only thing I could do, which was stick my hand out and try to deflect the ball if not catch it... Well let me tell you, it smacked my hand so hard that it tore the nail right out of my middle finger... and to answer some of you out there.... Yes they are long and Yes the whole thing came off!! I had to have the damaged nail bed removed this morning...Yuck!!! Now I have this huge gauze wrapped middle finger flipping everyone off!!!
So long story short... does anyone else have any foul ball battle wounds they want to share?????
All in all it was such a good game I really don't care about the finger......
Let's Go A's!!!!!
