This is me (a work in progress):
I love the Rangers. I watch on TV, I listen on the radio, I go to games when I can.
I always score the game when I go in person. It's a nice souvenir, and means more than anything you can buy in a gift shop.
I love to eat pizza. It's the best food ever.
Hot dogs at a ballgame are a close second.
When I'm not watching the Rangers, I'm always discovering new music.
I met my wife because of baseball. I love how life works like that.

LSB Giving Fund
If you are interested or would be willing to be part of a giving fund for little Cooper Stone, the young boy who lost his daddy at the Rangers game last night, please respond to this thread. At the very least, we can get a head count, whether we start our own fund or collectively give under the LSB banner to a fund already set up. Either way, this is a great, though tragic, opportunity to show this little boy that the Rangers community cares for him and loves him.

World Series priority tickets
I got an email that i was picked for priority world series tickets if the WS is played in Arlington. I know I'm not going to be able to go to any WS games in Arlington. So, if you want the code, hit me up. I'd be more than willing to give it to someone.

Some cards on ebay
I hate to admit it, but the economy has got me down a little bit, so I'm selling some of my baseball cards on eBay. I've got about a dozen cards on there now, ranging from rookie cards to parallel patch cards to authentic autographs (including a Justin Smoak rookie letter patch autograph). If you're interested, just go to my ebay seller's page and see if there's anything on there you'd like. I've started all bids at $.99.
Thanks!
Rockin_rangers goes to a minor league baseball game; hilarity ensues
Went to Oklahoma City this past weekend to see the Redhawks play, and I had one goal: Get Derek Holland's autograph.
Rest of the story after the jump.

Greg Golson auto ball & Rookie Card
Hi! Texas Rangers fan here. I've got an autographed ball from former Rangers prospect-now-Yankees-prospect Greg Golson, along with a Topps 2009 Rookie Card. The ball has a certificate of authenticity from TriStar Collectibles. If you are interested in these items, please reply. They are in a nice display set with wooden base, and both products are immaculate. Thank you for your time.
If I have some interest, I will post a few pictures of the ball and card.
Sincerely,
Andrew
Rodriguez was hitting .251 with eight home runs and 34 RBIs in 93 games with the Astros this season. He's not the feared hitter that he once was, but Jaramillo still believes he can contribute significantly on the offensive side.
"Pudge still has good bat speed," Jaramillo said. "I've got some ideas I think I can help him with. He can still hit."
An Open Letter To Kris Benson
Hey big guy,
Man, it's been rough. You did a good job in ST to gaurantee a starting spot, but you've just sort of fallen off since then. You're a veteran guy, and I'm sure you offer a lot to a young team as far as mentoring goes.
However, as proven in your appearance tonight against the Yankees, the relationship is over. You definitely didn't look happy out there, and we could see it in your eyes.
Thus, I would like to let you know that the Amarillo Dillas of the independent United League Baseball are holding open tryouts this Saturday, May 30th, from 9am to 3pm. It'd be a fresh start for you. and the people of Amarillo would love to have someone of your stature pitching for our team.
Give it some thought.
Sincerely,
A fan.
An Open Letter to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Dear LA Dodgers,
I understand you're Manny-less. But, you're still doing really great! I need you to do me a favor tonight, though. Would you please whoop the shit out of the Angels over the next few days for me? Though I'm not really a Dodgers fan, I will happily support a team that will give the Angels a good whoopin'.
Thanks for your time.
Oh, and thanks for Andruw Jones. Sure he sucked ass for you guys, but he's turned out alright in Arlington. Worked out pretty good. Thanks!
New blog @ MLBlogs
Just wanted to let you guys know that I've started a new blog over @ the MLBlogs. It's called Peanuts & Crackerjack, and though it'll be about the same kind of info you'd find here at LSB or over at T.R. Sullivan's blog, I still hope you'll come by and be amused. Not only do I talk about the Rangers, but also the randomness that is a baseball fan's life. So, come by peanutsandcrackerjack.mlblog.com and hang out with me. Hope to see y'all there!
