I remember Coolbaugh coming up for a brief stay years back, the guy was a year younger than me with 2 small kids. What a tragedy in an already tragic year. RIP Mike.

Craig Wilson released by Braves
Well, Craig Wilson was released today by the Braves. Hitting a very Cardinal-esque .178, he was coveted by the Birdos several years now. Would a change in scenery be what he needs?

On the plus side of that transaction, it means my keeper league catcher Saltalamacchia stays in the bigs... :)

My personal apology
I wish to make a formal apology to all those affected by Albert Pujol's dismal performance to date this season. I gambled the fortunes of the defending champs by selfishly bidding on Alberto for my fantasy baseball league, and winning.
It is unmuteable law that any big star I carry on my team will suffer the worst season of his career, and my lake of foresight is already showing. Forgive me fellow Cardinals fans, and know that I suffer along with you as my $52 roto dollars remain a loss thus far.
