A big Golden Bear Congratulation to SF Giants President and Chief Operating Officer Laurence M. Baer, a 1980 Graduate of Cal for guiding his team, winning the NLCS. The subtext of the Giants Vs. the Phillies series pitted our CAL Grad against a turd grad Rubén Amaro, Jr. Congratulations to Larry and we hope he fires up the CAL Band for the opening National Anthem in the World Series! I also hope some of his success rubs off on the Golden Bears and enables us to save Cal Baseball and Rugby. Go Bears and Go Giants!

Thanks for the great fan post over the year and I can hardly wait for Cal football to start. We need to pay attention to Cal Rugby as they were great this year and had a let down at Standfurd againts the utes... too bad as they should have won, they were the better team who just couldn't execute. I alos want to say that Coach Tedford should be admired for the way he has put together such a good football progra. I hope we can make into the top ten this year, and stay there  for a major bowl bid. GO BEARS!
