Just wanted to say Merry Christmas/Kwanza/Hannukah, whatever you celebrate. I hope you all get the presents you hoped for, but lets all remember the most important thing: Santa, all we Bama fans really want for Christmas is to be the ever loving snot out of Notre Dame on January 7th.

All right, last fanshot from me before the season starts. I've been hanging around this blog for like five years now, and I feel like some of you guys are like family to me. The, weird, drunk uncle, who embarrasses you every Thanksgiving, but family, nonetheless. That said, I've noticed several newcomers lately, which seems to happen toward the beginning of the season, and I wanted a post so everyone could kinda get to know each other a little better. It doesn't have to be anything too revealing. Maybe just a first name, where you're from, etc.
Also, 5026 gave a cryptic answer as to what his screen name means, but if you care to share that, I'm interested in where the hell some of you got your screen names from.
I'll go first.
Hi, my name is Dave, and I'm an RBRaholic. I'm 33, originally from Morgan County Alabama, and as my screen name suggests, I now live in Phoenix AZ.

One last thing; any of you make snarky, mean spirited comments about this post, and I will make sure Byron posts his predictions every single week for the rest of the year!

ABC news reports that the police Captain worked personal security for Petrino. I know some busineses employ off duty cops, but is it common practice for a police Catain to work privately for an individual? This thing has controversy written all over it. If I were a Hogs fan, I would be torn, because he has done so much for the program, but I don't see any way he survives this.

I just bought four tickets to the three bowl games here in Phoenix! Here's the package I got:

Our guys never intenionally run out of bounds. I watched several other games yesterday, and saw a bunch of dudes run out. Then I watched the highlight reel, and noticed that TR, JJ, MI never run out of bounds to avoid a hit. They lower their shoulders' and knock the other guy on his ass, before 6 or 8 guys come tackle them. I'm sure they would run out of bounds, if we were down and the clock was ticking, if they needed to; but they seem to play with an "f-that, I'm gettin' 2 more yards" attitude.

Oh shit.

My buddy got his family's pic taken with Javy. The coolest pic, though, was Javy flashing his National Championship ring. That thing was huge!
