I was looking at the thread about into and out of the top 100 prospect lists. How many at bats before one says... Corey Brown (for example) has changed and should be considered a better prospect? His strikeouts are drastically better and he is still walking some. I know the Giants have already moved up Brandon Crawford. I am guessing he had like 125 AB... Once again any thoughts would be appreciated! Scott

Hello, I am a little fuzzy on what is ok versus bad plate discipline. My understanding is that 10-15% of plate appearances is good. I know that walks and strikeouts need to be fairly close to each other. Of course, the fewer k's the better. At what point do strikeouts get to be too many ? Or at what point do strikeouts start limiting production? Thanks for any information! I love this site! Scott
