The Charlotte Observer confirms that the Panthers have no interest in free agent Plaxico Burress. Burress made an honorable attempt to spark interest by publicly making his own known in Carolina, but this match isn't happening. The Panthers seem content with youngsters Brandon LaFell, David Gettis, and Joe Adams behind Steve Smith. Burress may not find a new team until injuries strike at wide receiver in camp.
RotoworldKansas forward Thomas Robinson and UConn center Andre Drummond will work out for the Bobcats on Friday. The two are likely to go head-to-head, and it's possible the Bobcats, a team that is very much considering Robinson with the second overall pick, want to see how he fares against length. The Bobcats are known to be high on Robinson, but there has also been some scuttlebutt that UNC forward Harrison Barnes could be in play for the No. 2 pick as well.
RotoworldThe Bobcats may not trade the second overall pick, but it won’t be for lack of trying. In recent weeks, Charlotte has been in contact with a number of teams and they’ve made it clear that the No. 2 pick is available. However, multiple league sources have said that the Bobcats are looking for a lot in return. They would like to add a face of the franchise player, which is why they’ve reportedly expressed interest in young stars like Rudy Gay and James Harden. If the Bobcats can’t use the pick to make a splashy move, they’ll likely draft Thomas Robinson. However, Charlotte continues to hold out hope that they can move the pick and bring in a player who can make an impact right away.

I know this will outrage people... But I think he would be a good pick up and competition for the younger recievers

"I heard last night there was a chance I could get this fight and I accepted right away. You don't get chances like this too much in life, so when you are lucky, you got to make the most of it. I took one week off after last fight [May 5] and then went back to the gym." -Lavar Johnson
