The mind boggles (particularly if your last names are Lincoln or Armstrong and you work for a baseball team in the Northwest....). (And this isn't a political thing...just a shot at our two local baseball execs.....would love to see their heads explode if this got any traction nationally.)

A special for Lookout Landing denizens...
Not baseball, but I do theatre. And I just opened my latest show.....
Pork Filled Players presents the West Coast premiere of the action adventure hit of the National Asian American Theatre Festival, beginning Thursday, May 1, and running through May 24. (Th/Fri/Sat) at the Theatre Off Jackson (409 7th Ave. S., Seattle)!
Buffy had her vampires...Ophelia (and two other Shakespearean heroines) has her zombies. Sword fu. Weapons fu. Cloak fu. And more. Check it out!
Tickets are usually $15 general/$10 student, but for Lookout Landing denizens, use the secret word (Mariner zombie of the week--Miguel Cairo!) and get in for $10/$8.
Rated PG-13 for language, violence and affirmative action to Zombie Americans and other notions offensive to neo-conservatives.
Living Dead in Denmark, the long running New York hit play, is by Qui Nguyen (originally produced by Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company in May 2006, NYC), with original music by Dan Deming, and directed by Lisa Anne Glomb, with arrangements and orchestration by Brad Nelson.

LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE is a play that follows a diverse group of Seattle Mariners fans (and non-fans) as they experience the highs and lows of the record-breaking, and ultimately heart-breaking, 2001 season that was tragically interrupted by 9/11.
In 2001 Seattle baseball fans entered the season expecting a down year, but as the Mariners roared out to a huge lead it was soon apparent that they were in for a special season. With the All-Star Game being played at Safeco field, Seattle was truly the center of the baseball universe. Visions of a world series danced in fans' heads until the season was tragically interrupted by 9/11. Despite setting the major league record for most wins in a season, things weren't quite the same. There was no cheering in the streets, only muted celebrations and even die hard Mariners fans secretly rooted for the Yankees.
LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE, set in a small Seattle neighborhood cafe, follows a group of employees and customers as they experience the highs and lows of the baseball season, the major transitions in their own lives, love, tragedy and 9/11.
Most of all it's a story of how bonds are forged through good times and bad, through events both seemingly trivial and life-changing.
Scheduled to appear as celebrity guests playing the part of Radio Host are KJR Sports Radio personalities Dave "Softy" Mahler, Dave Grozby, Mike Gastineau, and KOMO personalities Mark Aucutt and Matt Pittman.
LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE is the debut play by West of Brooklyn's Martin Pierce and will open August 2 at Theatre Off Jackson at 409 7th Avenue South in Seattle. To buy tickets, go to our website: www.westofbklyn.com or call 206.706.3716
