Penn State Volleyball made a statement this weekend
Friday was a tough loss. Tonight, they looked down. They looked out of sync. Was this the beginning of a tough season after so many years at the top? Then, something happened. It clicked. Micha Hancock took over the team mid 3rd set and established herself a true young leader on this team. Down 2-0, Penn State roars back and wins in 5 sets against #2 USC to set a great tone for the year. Not only set a tone, but changed the tone that Friday night's loss seem to creat for the season.
Congrats to the team on the win tonight and get to know the name Micha Hancock.

Got my Season Tickets in the mail last night!!
I got my season tickets in the mail last night!!!! My wife said I let out a "sound of ectasy" as I pulled the tickets out of the package. They did a great job this year. The tickets are the wide style, probably 6in x. 4in each with a great pictorial on each ticket, including JoePa, a throwback 1930's Syracuse player, and some other good ones.
Another thing to note in the Yellow Parking. Obviously with the Arboretum and the Katz Building, Yellow parking would be down on the Park Avenue side. Now it looks like if you don't have a pre-paid yellow, you are going back behind the Housing and Foods Building right away (or if you have prepaid and get their late). This might change my parking strategy. I've always been partial to the soccer fields, but if I'm even running late, that back lot (Lot #11) is terrible.
And I saw a new sign walking across the soccer fields the other day 1-800-NITTANY. I guess it's if you need help with your car after the game is over?
Where can I find the "We Decide When you hear the snap count" T-shirt
Does anyone know where they sell the Penn State T-shirt that says something like "We Decide When you Hear the Snap Count"?
I tried to search for this on-line but cannot find it. I can't remember if, when I saw it, it was a student white-out shirt, or just a shirt you can buy downtown.
I also like the "Roll up your pant legs, your in JoePa's House" shirt as well.
Question on the Rose Bowl?
I know its hard, but we need to move past Saturday. That one hurt like Minnesota in '97 and Michigan in '05. I didn't even want to talk to anyone Saturday night (which is exactly how I probably felt after those 2 games too.)
So, say PSU wins out, and Oregon State wins out. Oregon State would win the PAC-10 with only one conference loss.
Would the Rose Bowl really want an Oregon State vs. Penn State rematch? Does the Rose have to take the Big Ten/Pac 10 champions with their pick? If that is the matchup, are the PSU fans really going to travel for a rematch of that game?
I'd prefer if they past on us, we got a Fiesta Bowl bid with Alabama or Texas as far as good game to watch or attend. Is this even possible? If not, just another reason the BCS sucks. Just look at the matchup the Orange Bowl could end up with......UNC vs. Boise State!!
PSU Football Schedule thru 2015
I received an email that had this link today. I thought I would share. Good to see Virginia and Nebraska back on the schedule, and I can't wait to make the trip to Tuscaloosa.

Greatest Show in College Football Poster
Did anyone else pick up this year's Penn State football poster at the BJC? Definitely the best one in the past couple years.
It's an aerial view of the White Out vs. ND last year at night and says "The GREATEST SHOW in college football" on the top with the schedule at the bottom.
I went back yesterday to see if there were anymore, but they were gone. I did hear they might be printing more this week though.
