Minor League Ball McCutchen for prospects

This is an update from the original offer of Victorino for Machado, Sano and Cosart which I rejected.  The owner has upped the ante with the new offer being Andrew McCuthen for the same three.  Yes I am giving up three top tier prospect but now and am getting the Dread Pirate in return.  Without going into specifics Is there anyone out there who would not make this deal.   All input will be much appreciated.  Thanks

Minor League Ball Fantasy help

I realize this is not the best area to post a question regarding fantasy so I am hoping someone can give me the link.

Anyways,

I can not quite make a decision on this deal. 12 team/23 MLB roster/13 MILB roster/H2H Dynasty League. No salaries or years attached strictly what you have is what you keep.

Here is the offer: I give up Manny Machado, Miguel Sano, Jared Cosart and the 10th overall selection in next years rookie draft for his Shane Victorino and the 4th overall selection in next years rookie draft.

I am probably overpaying however I can definitely afford to move these players due to my extreme depth and the fact I am getting an all-star caliber player in exchange for potential which is always a good thing.

My roster

C Napoli
1 Fielder
2 Kinsler
SS JJ Hardy
3B Michael Young
LF Cargo
CF Kemp
RF Justin Upton
U Tabata

B Matsui
Inj Beltran

Minor League Ball Dynasty League, Derek Holland or Brandon Beachy

What an amazing month Derek Holland has had.  Is this the guy every publication was gushing about in 2009 or is he just on an amazing run waiting to shatter all Dynasty owners hearts.  And than there is Beachy who put up videogameesque numbers in the minors and quite good numbers during his callup before his injury.  So the question asks which player would you feel more secure with if you were drafting for a dynasty league.

Minor League Ball Final Dynasty League drop

12 team H2H Dynasty League,  23 MLB roster, 13 MILB roster, 3 DL, no salaries, players you have are players you keep.  Daily transactions, C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF, RF, Util.

I need to drop one position player before the season starts today.  Since Belt made the opening day roster I need to add him to my MLB roster.   Since this is a daily transaction league that makes multi-position players that much more valuable.  Raburn would more than likely be the odd man out but since he has 2B eligibility in our league I believe that pushes him over the top.  Tabata is young with plenty of potential and Davis has the new hitters park and eligibility at all three OF positions.  Which leaves us with Cuddyer and LaRoche in my opinion, but maybe I am wrong.  For me its a tossup.  Can anyone offer up their opinion.

Starters
Napoli
Fielder
Kinsler
Furcal
Chipper (until Stewart comes of DL)
Cargo
Kemp
J. Upton
Lind

Bench
Raburn (2B, LF)
Adam LaRoche (1B)
Cuddyer (1B, RF)
R. Jones (LF, CF, RF)
Tabata (LF)

Minor League Ball Cargo Deal on the Table

Am I nuts or is this offer crazy.  I posted the

12 team H2H Dynasty League. 23 man MLB Roster and 13 man Minor League Roster. There are no contracts or salaries. The players you have are the players you keep.

Latest offer: I give Cargo and I get Heyward, Victorino and Matusz.

I cant imagine Cargo having the year he had last year while Heyward and Matusz both have All-Star caliber potential.  Am I missing something with this offer.  Can someone talk me out of accepting this.

Minor League Ball Dynasty League trade help

12 team H2H Dynasty League.  23 man MLB Roster and 13 man Minor League Roster.  There are no contracts or salaries.  The players you have are the players you keep.

Here is my dilemma.  I am going into the year without a 3B (Figgins lost his eligibility) and need to pickup or trade for a 3B.  Currently the best available FA's are Rolen, Encarnacion and Glass Chipper.  I have started some early discussions with Youk and McGahee being the targets.  I am also looking at Beltre and P. Alvarez.  I believe McGahee would the easiest to acquire however I believe I could obtain Youk as well but for a much bigger price tag.    Here are the deals I would be proposing.

1.  I give Coughlin and Abreu or Furcal and Abreu and I get McGahee

2.  I give Cargo and Dominic Brown and I get Youk and Jason Heyward.

3.  I give Dominic Brown and I get Pedro Alvarez.  (Dont think this gets the job done, but its a starting point)

The same team who has Alvarez has Beltre but do not have a clue on how he values him.

Additionally I am stocked in the Minors with plenty of additional trade bait.   Chris Carter, Desmond Jennings, Jesus Montero, Brandon Belt, Brett Lawrie, Miguel Sano, Aroldis Chapman, Jake McGee, John Lamb.

I am definitely going to start with trade option 1, but would appreciate some consenting opinions.

Minor League Ball Cargo/Freidrich for Victorino/Stanton

12 Team H2H Dynasty League.  There are no salaries or limitations.  What you have is what you keep.

I believe I can obtain Victorino and Mike Stanton for Cargo plus another Minor League player which has yet to be discussed.  Obviously its tough to discuss a trade when the other player has not been discussed so lets just assume its say Brett Jackson.

We use LF,CF,RF as our OF slots and currently I have Abreu and Vlad as my RF's which is fine for now however both have age.  In my minors I have Desmond Jennings and Brett Jackson who could end up occupying CF.  I also have Dominic Brown in RF.

My Minors Roster:

Dominic Brown

Desmond Jennings

Jesus Montero

Bret Lawrie

Hak-Ju Lee

Brett Jackson

Miguel Sano

Aroldis Chapman

Christian Freidrich

Jake McGee

Jarred Cosart

John Lamb

Jennry Mejia

What would you do?

Minor League Ball Rank these SP in Dynasty format

I am fed up with Wandy Rodriguez.  I want to dump this bum but have not done it as of yet.  There are some decent players available but can not convince myself to drop Wandy.  We are more than a 1/3 of the way through the season and he continues to struggle.  Is it time to give up on this bum or try to wait it out.  I would appreciate some opinions on him and the available players below.

Minor League Ball Talk me out of this deal

This is a 12 team H2H Dynasty League with LF/CF/RF positioning.  I have been offered Nate McLouth for Carlos Zambrano.  Currently my CF spot is manned by Cargo with Desmond Jennings waiting in the wings.  My pitching staff is not strong (Kazmir/Sanchez/Harang/T. Hudson/R. Romero/Pineiro/H. Bailey and Zambrano.  I also have prospects, Feliz/Chapman/Friedrich/D. Hudson and J. Mejia).

Even though SP adds an extra premium in H2H I would like to make this move.  Can someone talk me out of accepting this deal.

Minor League Ball Dynasty trade offer

The offer which has been proposed to me is his Colby Rasmus for my Carlos Gonzalez and Jason Castro.  Format is H2H Dynasty League.

I am a huge Colby Rasmus fan (seeing him numerous times in the minors) and am looking to acquire his services.  I have Cargo to deal but have a slight reservation of accepting the offer for Rasmus.   Do you believe that Castro slants the advantage his way or would you review this as a throw in.

Can anyone talk me out of accepting this offer..

Minor League Ball C. Rasmus vs D. Brown

Who would you rather own and why.

This is a fantasy base question with Dominic Brown on my roster.  I am thinking of offering my Brown for his Rasmus due to his roster crunch issue.  I have no idea if this will even happen, but I think I may give it a shot.

I really like Rasmus and last years pro debut gives me no reason to feel otherwise.   However most publications/experts are so high on Brown it is giving my second thoughts.

Can anyone talk me out of offering this deal.

Minor League Ball How much is Wieters worth?

Keeping this fairly simple, League parameters  12 Team H2H Dynasty League with 23 man Major League Roster and 10 man Minor League Roster.  Last year he had 25 man rosters and will downsize it to 23.

The Owner of Wieters is in a roster crunch and will need to deal Wieters before final rosters are set.  He is looking to upgrade at other positions or adding Minor League players.  My guess is the latter since his team is already stacked and it will be tough for another owner to make a deal with Major Leaguers.

I could list his roster but just trust me it is sick.  He has Wieters, Tillman and Beckham coming up from the minors this year so in reality he has 5 spots he needs to find room for and believes Wieters can return the most value.  I am not about to look a gift horse in the mouth thats why I would love to acquire Wieters.

I have plenty of young talent to offer and would like to get some varying opinions on what you believe it would take and what you would be willing to deal to acquire Wieters.  Here is what I have to offer

Jesus Montero

Chris Carter

Desmond Jennings

Jason Castro

Brett Lawrie

Dominic Brown

Aroldlis Chapman

Christian Friedrich

Daniel Hudson

Minor League Ball Trade offer/Thoughts

First posting

My Matt Kemp for his Jimmy Rollins and Carlos Gonzalez.

UPDATE:  I HAVE DECLINED THE OFFER AND COUNTERED WITH TEIXEIRA AND GONZO FOR KEMP.

Owner quit and was asked to take team over and boy is is bad.   H2H Dynasty League we use LF/CF/RF slots other than that standard league with minor leaguers.  I have put together quite the minor league system.  I am not too concerned with my pitching so this will not be part of the discussion

have been offered Jimmy Rollins and Carlos Gonzalez for Matt Kemp.  I am giving up the best player in the deal and am a little concerned with Rollins 09 first half slump, but am intrigued enough with Gonzalez that I am thinking about this deal.

However he also has Teix and Prince and thought about countering for one of those two plus Gonzalez.  I believe it is too much to ask for, but I believe the upgrade at 1b would be better than the upgarde at SS.    I am concerned if I ask for one of his two 1B it may piss him off enough to pull the first offer off the table.  THOUGHTS

My Roster

C  Benji Molina
Adam LaRoche
Jose Lopez
3  Figgins/Chipper
SS Furcal/Theriot
LF Damon/Lind/Coghlan
CF Kemp
RF Vacant
U   Vlad

Minors
Jesus Montero
Jason Castro
Chris Carter
Brett Lawrie
Desmond Jennings
Dominc Brown
Ardolis Champman
Christian Friedrich
Jenrry Mejia
