Best site to run a fantasy league
First off, I want to let everyone know that this isn't the correct venue to ask this question, but I've come to value the majority of your opinions and feel more comfortable hearing what you guys have to offer than most other sites I frequent.
I currently participate in an NL-only, salary keeper league in which we can carry 7 minor leaguers. We use CBSsportsline to manage everything. I was wondering what everyone's experience is with other sites. Sportsline is OK, don't get me wrong, but there are a few things that erk the maintainer and we're looking to make a change.
What's your favorite fantasy league management site and why? Please make sure you consider our leagues needs before answering.
Thanks.
Major League Deal
Wondering if someone might be able to provide a little input. What is the major difference between a draftee signing a major league deal vs. a minor league deal? It seems that reports out there emphasize the fact that Ackley and Strasburg signed MLB deals. What does this mean for the Mariners and Nats? Are these guys immediately added to the 40 man roster? If you know of a link that explains it that'll do just fine. I couldn't find anything legitimate.
Opening Day Rosters
Does anyone know of a website where I can find opening day rosters for each team? I'm sure if I searched hard enough on mlb.com I could find them all out, but I'm looking for something a little more organized.

Will Inman
BA just released their San Diego top 10. Why no love for this kid? I think out of all the top 10 lists I've seen so far for 2009 John is the only one that includes him. As a 21 year old in the Texas league he led the league in strikeouts and posted the 6th best ERA. I know he doesn't have a projectable body and his arm action is far from normal, but he has done nothing but strike guys out since he started pitching. Sure, his walks are up and his GB rate went down but he's still striking out a man per inning. Does anyone here see him being the 4th starter in San Diego behind Peavy, Young and Latos or will he be bullpen help/closer? What the heck, lets have a poll.
Xbox Live
Anyone out there have XBox Live? If so, post your gamer ID. That way we can settle our prospect difference like children...I mean men.

Fantasy draft: MadBum or Hanson
I know some of you don't like the fantasy stuff being posted on the board, but a little input would be extremely helpful. I have the 2nd pick in our minor league fantasy draft in an NL only league. I am currently torn between taking Madison Bumgarner or Tommy Hanson. The only other guys who one might consider taking at that spot and are still available are Pedro Alvarez, Mat Gamel and Jhoulys Chacin. So I ask the community, who should I draft? Keep in mind that we get points for K's and that we only have 7 MiLB roster spots, 5 of which are currently taken. My pitching isn't the greatest and I'm leaning towards Hanson due to the high probability of him being in the bigs before the years out. What's your take?
Jenks and Dye for F-Mart

Just curious to read what everyone else thinks. A) Is it legit, and B) What's your take on the deal? In my opinion it sounds like a good deal for both sides. I would hope that the White Sox get more than just F-Mart in return, but this could be the answer to all of the Mets problems. You wouldn't have to go after any class A FA's, Dye is a better option than Dunn or Abreu and Jenks' is arbitration eligible through 2011. And imagine F-Mart, Ramirez, Beckham and Flowers up the middle in 3 or 4 years. That's a heck of a lot of potential right there.
Your thoughts?
McCutch at the plate.
Angel Villalona gets blown away by Casey Weathers.
Will Inman comebacker at the XM Futures Game.
Steven Pearce MIA
Steve Pearce has missed the past 2 games for the Indianapolis Indians. Anyone know what's going on?
P.S. John Muir is the shit...
"Walk away quietly in any direction and taste the freedom of the mountaineer,.Camp out among the grasses and gentians of glacial meadows, in craggy garden nooks full of nature's darlings. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. As age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but nature's sources never fail."
McCutch
Has he answered his critics yet? His numbers so far might not jump off the page, but the kid is 21 years old and playing in AAA. He's improved his K/BB ratio significantly and right now he has no protection thanks to Walker's dismal season. I'm going out on a limb here and saying he is the #1 lead-off hitter prospect in baseball. Any thoughts?
