LJ Says He Wants Out Again, All Over the Radio

"Johnson said that he hasn’t spoken to new G.M. Scott Pioli, and that Johnson doesn’t plan to. Johnson also said he hasn’t spoken with any of his teammates.

He said that he prefers playing for an East Coast team, even though his mom apparently would like to see him be a member of the Dallas Cowboys."

Can we just get rid of this guy already??!!

They are getting ripped, and rightly so, for failing to hold a lead over the Jets because they called three running plays, fell short and punted when they needed to hold onto the ball. Let me go into this a little deeper, just to show you how gutless this approach is. Their 91-yard pick for a TD was wonderful, but it also got their defense on the field right away, with no rest. After that score they somehow managed to force the Jets to punt, and now, with a three-point lead, the game was theirs. Holding onto the ball and keeping their defense off the field was a must because these poor guys had seen 33 plays run off against them, offset by the six their offense had run. Run three times, punt, hand the other guys the ball, and the game, take your shower, listen to a few speeches, get on your plane and go home. Next week you clap your hands and yell, "Let's go get 'em!" when every fiber of your being is saying, "How do I get out of here?"

Chiefs' Larry Johnson charged in October incident at nightclub

Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson has been charged with simple assault after allegedly spitting his drink in a woman's face.

Kansas City police spokesman Darin Snapp said Johnson was charged Monday and turned himself in, later being released after posting a $500 bond.

Snapp said the incident occurred on Oct. 10 at a Kansas City nightclub. The 24-year-old victim reported that Johnson threatened to kill her boyfriend before spitting his drink in her face.

After leaving the bar, she said Johnson tried to spit on her again as he was escorted out.

It is the fourth time in five years that Johnson has been accused of assaulting a woman, and he faces a possible suspension for violating league rules.
