Baron Davis Amnestied
Even with the suspect back injury I would much rather take a chance on Davis than JC.
Where Jerry compares John Salmons to the player who shall not be named.
Marc Stein: ESPN sources: Nene and Nuggets reach terms on five-year, $67 million deal
Gasol, Chandler, and Nene gone. I think other FAs will sign now that the big three are over and done with. Namely AK47 in a Kings uni.
Replay of the NBA vs PBA
Real Basketball. Enjoy.

Mostly post-Lebron highlights but he is in there a couple times. We now have a PF who is capable of a highlight reel. Ada boy GP.
Fla State's Chris Singleton, known as a top defender, impressing teams with offense in draft workouts. Decent shooter, some low-post moves
From Scott Howard-Cooper's twitter
I really hope GP brings this guy in. A head to head with Leonard would be my dream scenario. I don't think Knight or Walker will still be on the board come #7.
They elicited one of the loudest cheers of the night when they invited Johnson to represent the Kings at the NBA Draft lottery Tuesday.
"I accept!" Johnson yelled, after picking Joe Maloof up and twirling him in a bear hug
Comparing Darko and DMC
After the manna meter disappeared I made a mental note to check back in at the end of the year and see how the two stacked up. DMC destroys Darko in just about every category or metric.
Darko shoots a better percentage from the floor, but shoots way less, he also blocks more shots. And we all know DMC has a turn over and foul per game problem (very normal for a rookie), but Darko, in his 8th season, still turns the ball over at a higher rate than DMC.
The big stats during the summer of manna was assists and assist rates. It ended up being closer than we initially expected but DMC wins this one too.

# Oops, Landry for Thornton and cash. NOt sure what IND would have offered, probably not Collison or Granger. Who knows, really...
# Indiana Pacers made a late push to get Carl Landry, but Kings stuck with deal to send him N.O. for Landry and cash.
This just in from Jason Jones
What would Ind have other than Collison and Granger that Sac would want? P. George?
The Glass is Half Full: Positives of Negative Publicity
Panic feeds on fears, and fans of the Sacramento Kings, and by extension fans of Demarcus Cousins, have recently been persuaded that our fears have come to fruition and the attitude that caused Cousins to fall to #5 in the draft is in full bloom. To make the situation worse, players are under performing, and Tyreke Evans is a problem now too. Panic my friends, the rapture is nigh.

Samuel Dalembert Could Miss 4-6 weeks
I really wanted to see how he meshed with the team this preseason. Guess we have to wait a little longer.
The Sacramento Kings took another hit in their bid to build a new arena when Cal Expo officials on Friday rejected a proposal to move the State Fair to the site of Arco Arena. A new complex, including the new arena would have been built on the Fair site.
This is from insider today. Apparently there was a deal we are all unaware of...
Sources say the Kings are also still open to trade possibilities, and Detroit and Utah are two teams eager to move up in the draft. The Pistons’ Tayshaun Prince(notes) could be intriguing to the Kings, who are eager to add a veteran small forward to the roster.

I hate this kind of BS. Have they looked at the roster? Oh, and Favors and DMC are supposed to go 1 v 1 in New Jersey, but who cares about that right?
Arena Infrastructure
I don't recall anyone discussing this at StR, so apologies if this is redundant.
Seems all interested parties necessary for the Arena to be built downtown are already in motion, from the government side at least.
"Maybe I didn't make the point right," Maloof said. "We do need a new arena. Nothing has changed.
"The point I was making is we need to refocus and get the season ticket holders back. We have to bring more wins to the city. That's more important than the new arena right now. After that, you have to look at your suites and club seats. You can't depend on the luxury suites."
Dalembert to L.A. Kings!
I am missing my calling as an NBA beat writer. Monkey's could do better.
