I will be visiting Yankee Stadium on the 17th of this month to witness a little interleague action and check out the great Yankee Stadium in its last year. However, I was hoping some of the locals could give me some pointers about the area and the stadium. Is there a must try food item at Yankee Stadium? Is there a good bar to hang out pre/post gametime? Basically I'm just looking for any good pointers that are good to know for a first time visitor.

Thanks.

In my quest to visit every MLB ballpark I took a trip to Safeco last night after work and stumbled across the gem the Mariners call the Nintendo Fan Network. Tried it out and all I can say is that it was very cool. Nintendo needs to roll this out in every ballpark.

The bottom line is that the best way to create runs is to get on base and hit for power. We have done neither so far this year, and that, Padres fans, is our problem. Nevertheless, we have been better of late, outside of yesterday, and are optimistic that we'll continue to do a better job in both departments as the season continues.
