I am as some on here know a Saints fan. I was just trying to post to a couple of fan post that I have been on this week but no luck. So, here goes my first blog ever. If this game didn't wake up your fan base and the nation I don't know what will. What a frig'n game.For all those Niners fans who say Alex needs to go? I say, You might want to rethink that. I say ,turn him lose!!
He looked great! As a team your Niners over came that crazy snap going down to the Saints early and to the very end it was any-ones game. You beat a very good d and O line all night!  You guys are the real deal and I would hate to have you again . Hawks game? History! Tonight the Niners grasped that elusive identity. That is more important than a W. Mark my words. You didn't just turn the corner, you took no prisoners. All you will hear this week on NATIONAL sports programs is the Niners are coming and they are for real!  Props to you and your Niners!!   WOW !! Good luck and see ya'll down the road.

Have a segestion.  How about any Saints fan who wants to call our Saints Aints when the going gets tough, and it will at times, is grounds to be banished. Trolls are the exception as they do help us pass the time between games. I'm talk'n those who's profile shows them as  Saints fans . They are home grown. Same as treason !Quick and humane death. This is the home of the Saints Nation and should be treated as such. What ya think.Past  violators are forgiven and start with a clean slate. I think this team has earned that respect .

 I came over here to give a gracious see ya next year kind of quick post and go.  But was was bothered by maybe knee jerk angry posts by Colts fans slam'n Manning. So here it goes.  In my opion this was a game played between two of the greatest teams to set foot on the field of play.  I know my Saints came in as underdogs and some would say dirty play defense. When all the talking heads talked about elite QB's Brees was rarely mentioned.  Well in this game on this day our defense was clean. Our QB was patient , surgical and elite. This Saints team was a match for a stellar Colts football team.  I say it was coaching that made the differance.  Greg Williams. Our Defensive coach. Ran his mouth to anyone with a mike. We will put " remember me hits" on Manning.  I'm think'n> Are you nuts? The refs are going to be all over us!  Did anyone see anything close to that? Nope. BUT. Your offense expected it and so so over protected Manning.  COACHING!  Saints were the most penalised team in the NFL this year. Not today. COACHING!   When coach Peyton wanted to go for it the on sides kick he went to the defense at half time and said " what do ya think" . Williams said" This is the SUPER BOWL ! do it we will cover your back if it does'nt work " . I guess I'm trying to say embrace your Colts when they come home. They are what all teams are meassured by. If the Saints came home with out a win today there will still be 10,000 fans at the airport to greet them.  Be thankfull for what you have. There are 30 other teams who wish they were so lucky.  See ya next year. Maybe in the big one again. 

 I just want some of the doubters to remember when things were'nt so rosy!  A number of of us Sly, GGman  and more staid the course. New Orleans judge puts trial on hold because jurors distracted by Super Bowl

A judge in New Orleans has shelved a trial after ruling that jurors would be too distracted by football fever to pay attention and that lawyers and court staff should be allowed to make a pilgrimage to the Super Bowl celebrations in Florida instead.

Judge Michael Bagneris granted a postponement in the case of Dano Paul Becnel v Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, a lawsuit that seeks damages for the family of a shipyard worker who died of asbestos exposure — acknowledging in a written order: “The court takes judicial notice that Saintsmania permeates the city of New Orleans.”

The case was filed five years ago and had been due to open on Monday. But Judge Bagneris, who has sat on the Orleans Parish Civil District Court for 17 years and who also serves as president of the city’s Jazz and Heritage Foundation, noted in his ruling: “Many prospective jurors for the parish of Orleans, several attorneys involved in this litigation and court personnel plan on travelling to the promised land — the Super Bowl, in Miami, Florida.”

Judge Bagneris told The Times: “The community is so consumed with [New Orleans] Saints fever that it would have been near impossible to seat an effective jury. Even if we had got 12 people to sit I was then concerned, as were some of the lawyers, that no one was going to be listening to the evidence being presented.”
