Born and raised on the east coast I am an unlikely Saints fan. Never dug the Pats and did not want to follow my father in rooting for the Giants, I originally went with my first pee wee team the Cowboys. However by high school I was tired of "America's Team" and when they let Landry go I bailed. Looking around the league in 1989 I was sucked in by the Dome Patrol and have been a Saints fan ever since. Now in the Bay Area CA I rally the west coast to love Dem Saints.

Thank you Saints for a night I will remember.
Ladies and Gentlemen I am not someone who posts often (ever). I comment on the sides but I know that there are those of you who are funnier, those of you who are smarter, and certainly those of you who have been fans for far longer than me. However I need to share with someone who are all those things the way I feel after our Saints slapped down a greater whoopin than I could have hoped for. I am a teacher at a high school in CA (San Leandro high btw how bout that Dennis Dixon last night) and for weeks I have been hearing about this game from colleagues, students and friends alike about how this night would be when the Saints would be exposed as the frauds they are. Today in each class my students brought up tonight's game and I calmly replied "Let's talk tomorrow".
I watched at one of my most vocal Pat's fan friends house, arrived a little late and walked in as the Saints were settling for there first field goal to a roomful and I do mean roomful of Patriot supporters who took one look at me in my faith shirt and howled their delight to which I replied you better score a lot in the first quarter because it is all downhill from there. I had planned to let my team do all the talking but I must admit that by half-time I was already losing my voice. I have never experienced the euphoria during and after a game as I felt during this game tonight.
Thank you Mr. Meachum, Mr. Colston, Mr. Mckenzie, Mr. Shockey, Mr. Bell, Mr. Thomas., Mr, Grant. Bless you bless you Mr. Sharper and Bless you Bless you Bless you Bless you Mr. Drew Brees! I will forever hold this night in my all times and what ever happens from here on out and I do believe there is far more to come, I am grateful. And I am soooo looking forward to tomorrow. Geaux Saints! WHOooooooooooooooooooo dat!
